Business Owner
Nicole Lanier Montez, born in Mt Vernon, N.Y. of African-American and Mexican descent, is a poet, licensed Funeral Director, licensed Cosmetologist, and holds a forensic psychology degree. Montez work is bold, fresh, fruitful and vibrant; questioning social, economic and religious implications that define us. Montez has written several poetry books. Poems have appeared in the Anointed Path, The Vine Magazine, and Watts Winery Company. Book inclusions at Poets House, NYC, Mt. Vernon Public Library, Mt. Vernon, NY and The Prince George’s County Memorial Library System, MD. Montez is a member of the Academy of American Poets.
