Stars are all for food. Girl that«helped» me was named Charnell. Went to grab some food today before early flight home. Ordered the breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She never once smiled or was at all pleasant. Bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. The sandwich was very good, all made right there fresh. Crisp bacon. Fast service. Go sit down Open box and notice they forgot the potatoes. I went back up to let them know and she just kind of looks at the cook and rolls her eyes. Didn’t say a word to me. He apologizes and gives me my box back with the potatoes. They were good but seemed to have sat for a bit. I could see some fresh ones cooking, but they had good flavor. Only complaint was the cashier. She was very rude. If you don’t like your job, find another one. That is all.

Wow, Wow wow. After waiting in line for 30 min, I finally made my order. $ 20 for a breakfast bagel with OJ. I saw my order sit there for 10 min getting cold, as the two workers were bumbling around switcing orders and generally being disorganized. How hard is it to grab the box, turn around and say order 7806 and give my my food. Instead, it sat there as they tried to fix whatever was going on. And, they didnt give me the potatoes it should have come with. That was one of the holdups with the other orderes, they screwed people out of half their food. I was already running to my gate when I realized they messed my order up. They were rude, disorganized, slow, discourteous, and overall terrible customer service. I spent alot of money on crap food. Seriously, I understand it’s airport prices but at least they can try a little harder and at the minimum give people what they paid for. Still hungry and $ 20 less in my pocket. The poor girl in front of me ordered a bagel with cream cheese and was still waiting while I left. Poor poor job Andre, chef, and whoever the manager was. Y’all need some intensive re-training.

In a world where one mediocre bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is often the precursor to a mediocre day, it’s important now, more than ever, to have a quality sandwich. Fortunately, the 6 a.m. bacon, egg and cheese sandwich I had today was fantastic. Some airport breakfast places, such as the popular breakfast related chain near PAX, use egg patties, sometimes soggy bacon and who knows what else in their products prepared in an industrial button pushing warming machine. Here, I enjoyed a fresh cracked egg and crispy bacon prepared on a flat top stove. It was served hot. It was delicious. There are also tables to sit at, eliminating the need to eat at the gate. That’s a good thing. And for an airport, the $ 5.95 menu listing is a reasonable price. For a 6 a.m. airport bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, you can do much worse than PAX. I highly recommend it. A hidden gem at BWI.

A shockingly good crab cake for an airport! Made from scratch and for $ 12.95 for an appetiser for 2 crab cakes it’s the best deal at the airport by far. WOW, what a surprise. I grew up in Baltimore and it’s good by any standards. I know they have some spotty reviews because of service, but I noticed that I’m not the only person raving about the crab cakes. Another reviewer commented that these were better than the ones he had the night before at a super fancy restaurant, I totally agree. This is an incredible bargain.

I did NOT expect the crab cake that arrived at my table. I had no place to be so the slow acknowledgement didn’t bother me, but I see how it could. The Knob Creek and sweet tea sealed the deal. As airport food goes, this is above average. The burger look really good on someone else’s plate, but Maryland = crab cake.

Staff does not check on you when your glass has been empty for a few minutes and I’m seated at the bar. Pitiful!!!

I guess this is pretty typical for airport food service. Uninterested servers and OK food. Pax at BWI didn’t disappoint on this front. It was a chore for the cashier slash cook slash bartender, to drop her cellphone before finishing her text. What disappointed me the most, was lack off any kind of hair restraints. She had lots off hair that swept all over my breakfast sandwich on the griddle. Yum. Tie it back! That’s just unsanitary. Also, use gloves while preparing food if you handle money. Looks like Pax lax management.

An A-OK alternative to Dunkin’s when you’re short on time before your flight. I was hoping for a sit down breakfast but since the security line basically lapped the entire airport a few times, I couldn’t afford the luxury. Rather than get something that looked like rubber and was prepackaged, I stopped here and was pleased to see my bacon egg and cheese made fresh to order. Can’t complain about wait time like everyone else as it was 6 am and not exactly hoppin’ yet.

Really bad service, only one in the bar and I asked the server for something and I was asked to wait until manager came back, once he had arrived(20 – 30 min later) finally got service.

I took crab cakes to go to my gate and they were so delicious I went back for seconds. The cook made my crab cakes right in front of me and he really took great care in making them. He was a big warm guy. They do come with kettle chips instead of fries but I preferred them over fries. The kettle chips were great. I had my crab cakes bunless, seems to defeat the purpose to obscure the taste of the cakes with bread. I believe they also came with a nice tangy sauce and thought they were better than the ones I had the night before in a 75 dollar a plate restaurant in town. As for any complaints about service… really? It’s an airport eatery in the midst of the chaos of airline passengers, so I’d say manage your expectations, but in the midst of the chaos, the chef treated me kindly as did the cashier. And as I said, I went back for seconds. I’m craving them right now.

Excellent customer service. The chef remained calm and did not look stressed during a time of an excess of orders. Wonderful experience. The Bloody Mary’s are awesome!

Blue Cheese Burger is pretty good, but I have to agree with most of these reviews about the customer service. They definitely need a little training on being a little faster, a little more friendlier and a little more energetic!

I can’t speak for the food, but I can speak to the customer service. So I walk in to grab food. I wait… and wait… and wait. Finally I am greeted after awkwardly standing at the register for about 60 sec with no greeting from an employee who sees me. I asked if they have turkey sausage. They didn’t. I left.

Wow — what a disgrace. This location is in the D gates area, and is pretty quiet compared to most airport bars. I arrived at 6:30 on a Sunday night. Bartender went to great lengths to avoid eye contact with me. Every single table and/or bar seat was dirty, so I asked«are you still open» to which he nodded«yes’. Great start… Either empty glasses or used plates/silverware all around, as if a party of 100 had just left. I ordered a drink, and watched as 3 employees did absolutely nothing for the next 30 minutes or so. Not one table bused, not one glass picked up. Just a «who gives a *» attitude from everyone. I felt like it was a deliberate attempt to get people to turn around and walk out. Given what I observed, I wouldn’t have even considered ordering food…

Open tables, quick service, not great but decent burger at a fair price. A better option than fast food chains in the concourse.

Wrapping up my time in the Baltimore area, I had a bit before I needed to be at my departing flight. Sadly, the Chipotle is in a distant part of the airport from here so I picked what I think was the best option for a proper meal. Not especially busy, I was able to sit immediately at a table though there were no power outlets for my laptop nearby. The waiter had no problem with me taking up a table for an extra half hour while I sipped at my beer after the meal was gone. Maryland, so why have just a beef burger that I could have anywhere? I chose the crab cake sandwich instead. Good choice as it seemed to have a reasonable amount of crab(or krab, I don’t know) and not so much stuffing. They do not have fries, just a pile of kettle chips. Bummer. Get some power outlets and get some proper fries and you’ll get that fifth star.

Not worth eating here unless all the other places are packed. Need more options and the menu kinda sucks. Also they do not have fries only chips as a side for their burgers. Not a horriable place, and it is much much quiter than the other places in the airport! So you had better ask for the check… they just called your name!

Looks likes Pax is a retread from a previous restaurant. I think it would be better if this part of the terminal was busier. But nonetheless, I got a Pax burger and it was good. The bartender was nice and friendly. The service on plastic plates left a little to be desired but not too many good options in this part of BWI.
