Reminds me of boutiques from NYC with selections that reflect that. However, prices are über decent and especially during their winter clearings.
Fashion here is put together, minimalistic, understated but makes a great impression. I can’t wait to go back!

I always find something to buy when I stop in here. A great little shop to grab some one of a kind items.
The shop although it appears to be tiny, is laid out with a lot of options. When you walk in there are clothes, scarves, shoes, and a few racks of clothing. The store has 2 different sections, both with similar items. The side you enter in has casual clothing and the other more fancy, glam items.
The pricing varies… you have items that are $ 14 and some that are over $ 100…they usually have a sale or deal so your pockets won’t break. It’s definitely a place to go if you want one of a kind pieces, boutique chic. Take your time, look, try some things on and enjoy it. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Ask any questions if you must.
They don’t carry a lot of sizes, remember boutique like, but don’t fret, another great piece will be there the next time you decide to visit.

Best local shoe shop in Baltimore. Amazing, funky leather shoes (Frye, Lucky Brand, Born, lots of new ones I’d never seen before), reasonable prices. Great bags, clothes, jewelry.

I’ve been here quite a few times, and each time I’m pretty impressed with their clothing and shoe selection.
The store is sectioned in two rooms, each are pretty big. They always have really nice items, that are reasonably priced for the boutique consumer. I love the fact that they also carry the knee boot for the ladies with the *ahem* sporty calf. The accessories are pretty dope from the scarves, to the jewelry and the bags. The staff are great, and are always really helpful.
There is always one or three things that I feel that I must have. Le sigh.
They will send you reminders when they have their stockroom sale… even bigger sigh.

Very cute stuff in this store with a unique selection. I was in with my boyfriend’s mother, (we were the only ones in the store). After being greeted the sales girl just watched us like a hawk, following us from one room to the other. So awkward, we just left without buying anything because we felt uncomfortable. I get it, you don’t want anyone to steal– maybe just try making conversation instead of being dead silent with your arms crossed as you watch your customers.

If I lived anywhere nearby I would be a lot poorer because I honestly wanted to buy ALL THE THINGS, gasping audibly at almost every dress I looked at. With the help of two very sweet sales girls I narrowed it down to two and I’m very happy with my purchase. A great place to treat yourself to something pretty.

Absolutely love this place! About 80% of shoes come from here! They have selection for any occasion, a lot of unique styles and at any price point. I always get a lot of compliments on my shoes that I buy here. The staff is always nice and helpful. Even when I had a manufacturing issue with a pair of sandals, after I worn it for about a month, Poppy and Stella gladly let me exchange it for another item. People call them ‘pricey’, I call them ‘well invested’!

For a tiny shop they have a lot of nice things. I’ve bought boots there and jewelry. They have a lot of fossil and hobo items which I’m not a fan of but they have a nice jewelry selection and the girls who work there are so nice, helpful and not pretentious.

Great selection of clothes and shoes! I like going somewhere besides the mall to shop so you have something not everyone else has. I love their selection of summer dresses and it’s easy to see everything in there is carefully selected which I really appreciate. I find them to be a bit on the pricey side, but after all this IS Fells Point and the owner is paying high rent for such a location.

They had really cute shoes and jewelry and it wasn’t even terribly priced either. We only walked out with two necklaces, earrings, and a pair of shoes. (We weren’t planning on buying anything.)

I have been in here a few time and every time I am impressed with their cute shoes and super helpful staff! Yesterday was much of the same. While on a quest for cute, flat black «everyday» shoes, I popped in for a quick second. While I didn’t find what I was looking for (or rather, I did, but they didn’t have my size), Alli went out of her way to check their other location to see if they had it and, when she found out that they didn’t, she made a point to write down the designer and style so that I could search online myself. She went over and beyond I would expect and did it with a smile even though I wasn’t buying anything at the time. That’s the type of service that will always keep me coming back. I wish there were more shoes and more of my sizes (hence the 4 instead of 5 stars), but all and all, I am definitely a fan!

Talk about gorgeous shoes… Then you can definitely talk about Poppy and Stella. As I write my review, I am wearing my red, soft leather, peep toe wedges by Miz Mooz. I’m in love. Poppy has a truly unique and fun selection of shoes. It’s not everyday I walk into a store and would literally wear every single pair of their shoes. I’m not exaggerating. To top it off. The girls helping me were fantastic. It’s fun to share your true love of shoes with fellow shoe fanatics. This boutique is a must stop if you’re in the Baltimore area. I love this store, to the point where most of the time I shouldn’t go in because I know I’ll find something I love. Their buyer does a great job of carrying a wide variety of styles, from cute and sweet to edgy. Definitely a must see if you’re in Fells!

I now stop in here on a weekly basis to see what is new. This store deserves all the accolades it earns and the owner, merchandise buyers, and staff do exemplary work in maintaining this store. The staff is an added plus to shopping here. They really care about meeting the customer’s needs and I never feel pressured to buy even though I usually cave and I do. kudos to Poppy and Stella!

Ever since this store has opened I’ve been a fan of the shoe selection. I have a real weak spot and so does my wallet for beautifully made shoes. You see, this store and I have been FB friends for a few years but I’ve never made a single purchase for a pair of shoes. But here’s the main reason why… the return policy is tricky and anything that is final sale is truly final sale regardless if the shoes are discounted 50%+ or a measly 20% for a promotional sale. I had been eyeing a pair of Miz Mooz shoes for over a month and decided to go in since they were on sale. The shoes were just as great as I remember, but unfortunately I couldn’t work a deal with the store, allowing me to buy them and wear them around the house for a day to see if they would be comfortable. Sadly I left feeling like I’d have to leave the shoes forever… but thankfully found the same exact ones 50% off retail online with free shipping and returns.
This definitely does not mean I won’t be shopping there in the future, but I will have to watch pricing a little better. They really do have one of the best shoe selections in the city and I can’t wait to see their fall/​winter boot collection!

Super clean and eye catching store.
The prices are a bit high — but the shoes were nice and were overall hard to find styles. I thought the merchandise was nice, but a little limited. They were sold out of my size in so many things. A size 7 ½ is common — I am aware. But really EVERYTHING was sold out in my size. Regardless, that doesn’t affect my review on the store.
The customer service is just OK. If you don’t look like you are in there to buy anything, you don’t really get acknowledged. It wasn’t until I asked someone until someone really helped me because apparently the other people in the store looked as if they were most likely to purchase over me. That would be my only downfall about this store.

Drool.
I promise you that upon entering Poppy and Stella your brain will have trouble separating ‘want’ from ‘need’. Every shoe seems carefully chosen and they all ooze that «I’m just a carelessly cool city girl’ vibe.
The sales girls here are friendly and will engage you in no-​pressure banter. They seem to be quite used to hearing moaning, gasping and squeals from browsers trying desperately to hold onto their pocketbooks and failing miserably.
Warning: the siren calls of new summer sandals WILL be too much to bear. You’ll drop a pretty penny at Poppy and Stella, but your newly-​hip tootsies will thank you.

I left with a pair of wedges that I absolutely LOVE!!! I cannot wait to return… quality designers and quality service.

I love autumn. It’s my favorite season. I love the angle of the sunlight, the changing colors, the crisp mornings and warm afternoons, the smell of woodsmoke and rain and leaf tannins… and I adore autumn fashions. (Yes, for those of you who know me, I don’t actually indulge my love of clothes much. I don’t have the funds. And I hate buying clothes when I’m fat. Both will change, someday, I hope.)
All this fall, I’ve been seized by an absolutely terrible case of boot-​envy. Beautiful, sleek leather boots everywhere I look, in smooth leather, soft suede, with buckles and buttons and fancy stitching, under jeans and skirts and over leggings… not having a pair of boots that fits me, currently, I’ve just stood and stared, my mouth watering with longing.
His Goatness, recognizing that he was unlikely to escape hearing me wax poetic over other people’s boots until the season changed, generously took me boot shopping one afternoon, while we were in Baltimore for a conference. Google Maps had the nearest shoe store to the conference in Fells Point — a place called Poppy & Stella.
Having found parking (not an easy feat in this area, which is a cobblestoned, historical district filled with charming shops and quaint restaurants), we headed in… and were greeted promptly by a helpful clerk who actually seemed interested in providing a customized shopping experience. Refreshing! I haven’t found enough of that in Canada, and have missed it.
I told her I was looking for a pair of black, tall, leather (not suede) boots, simple (without buckles & buttons & fur), no heels (I have wrecked my back to the extent that I’ve had to give away all of my high heels), and preferably feminine enough that they didn’t make me look like a punk rocker (while I love punk rock, I can’t really pull off the look in my 40s). In a women’s size 11. Whew! Not demanding or anything…
She came out with exactly the pair I wanted. They fit. Comfortably. And they were even affordable. Fastest shoe shopping excursion ever — hurray! And she even recommended a lunch spot which turned out to be spectacular.
P. S., the selection of boots available, even in this cute little shop, was seriously impressive. Highly recommended.

This place was expensive, but OH so nice inside. Their boots are AWESOME. The selection of shoes is extremely unique. And even though this was a shoe store, I ended up getting a beautiful necklace. Moral of the story is I STILL walked out the door with something from this place.
