Radio Shack must have some standardized training because most every RS that I’ve been to has been good. Radio Shack’s identity has changed quite a bit over the decades. You used to be able to get resistors, transitors, wires, and circuit boards. But now, it’s more like a neighborhood mini-best buy electronics store. You can find a lot of interesting stuff here. As far as the Canton store is concerned, there are a lot of cell phones and accessories, a few laptops and computer accessories, then some other random stuff. The staff seems interested and maybe a bit underpaid. They are courteous and eager to help. No complaints.

I had a need for an inexpensive mic, reducer and cables so I stopped at this radio shack as opposed to Guitar Center because they are way overpriced. I was greeted at the door and the guy working there showed me the items I wanted and answered my questions. I saw a four channel mixer at 110 bucks(a great deal), it was a Radio Shack brand and felt like quality build with sound effects with left and right equalizer, I had to have it. The mic was only 39 bucks and it all sounds great. Not a terribly large selection but Radio Shack gets the job done. I’ll defiantly be back.
