RE/MAX Sails

I never, and I mean never, take the time out of my day to write a review especially for restaurants or everyday experiences. I figure it’s best to let people judge for themselves. However, a home purchase is such a BIG deal, that I felt it was my responsibility to give feedback.
I currently attend school in downtown Baltimore, and have been renting in the Columbia area while my husband and I learned more about where we wanted to live. We literally stumbled upon a home we felt would be perfect for us, unfortunately, the find was a little early in our apartment lease. We were placed in contact with the listing agent, Joe Sachetti, who was: Professional, patient, understanding, responsive and creative. He helped us figure out the best way to go about making this unexpected home purchase and gained our trust to the extent that we didn’t even feel the need to get a buyer’s agent. (I took real estate courses some time ago when I was thinking about entering the business and the one thing they teach you is «why wouldn’t you get a buyer’s agent? They’re free! I eventually wound up in auto insurance and never got my license, but that statement always stuck with me.) Well, Joe’s service and help, was that good, that unbiased and that helpful. Like the previous poster mentioned, the office is gorgeous inside. I would definitely recommend this business for your real estate needs.

No one likes realtor’s, I get your drift… but I got a little something to say and I hope you choose to listen. I want to highlight that Peter Sowa from Rachel P’s review is no longer an active Realtor here, thankfully! Also, this Remax (which is located next to the 7 – 11 on Boston St.) is currently in the process of being remodeled. I went for settlement yesterday and the office building is brilliantly designed with newer Art-​Deco décor and the city of Baltimore pictures surround you.
Kevin Willner, awesome Realtor whom my family has now used for the third time in our home purchases. Always on time, always looking out for your best interest and usually does all the work without you having to break a sweat! I personally went house hunting in the Baltimore City area a couple of weeks ago and Kevin was able to set up 10 different viewings in 1 DAY! I figured if I told him that many, he could squeeze in a couple. Nope! He got me all 10. Needless to say I found my dream, home, (my first house actually) and I am now an official homeowner! The process couldn’t have gone any smoother and I am extremely grateful for Kevin and his diligence.

RE-​MAX has been most unhelpful in the search to rent in the Canton neighborhood. After being referred to Peter Sowa by a friend, he proceeded to continually pawn off our requests to view houses on to other team members who were clearly inexperienced. One of which managed to secure us a rental only to have it fall through a few days later because he didn’t tell them how many tenants were planning on renting the property.
Not only this, but a true real estate professional in the Canton area would obviously realize how quickly the market moves and would never respond to clients «I’m pretty busy this week» as anyone familiar with this market knows that in a week the property will most definitely be snapped up. Clearly, he did not value us as clients. I would NOT recommend RE-​MAX or Peter Sowa to anyone looking to rent in Canton!
