Albert B.
Business Owner
Albert Bogat is a third-generation paintings & arts conservator. Based in the Metro of Baltimore City, he works in a private practice, in his state-of-the-art conservation studio.
He is a long standing member and Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC) and adheres to a strict code of ethics. He is a member of the Book and Paper Group (BPG), which deals in preservation and conservation of artifacts and collections of paper-based materials. Also, he is an alumni of The Paintings Specialty Group (PSG), which was formed in 1980. The purpose of the Paintings Specialty Group is to improve knowledge of all subjects relating to the conservation of paintings, to promote proficiency and skill in the practice of paintings conservation, and to disseminate related technical and professional information.
