Saint Agnes Hospital

There is no one here, yet we have been waiting for over 2 hours in the pediatric ER. This is absolutely ridiculous — thankfully my child is not in intense pain, but I can hear a small child constantly wailing. I am convinced we are being charged by the minute and that is why no one is bothering to address the patients. This is worse than the National Health. AVOID COMING HERE UNLESS YOU REALLY HAVE NO CHOICE

It’s so difficult to register for the labor and delivery department. Calling the hospital is a constant misdirection from the operator and the line is either busy or you will again be redirected. I’ve called seven times on Friday and you can pretty much forget about calling during the weekend because they’re closed. Unfortunately, Monday is closed as well cos of a holiday. However you won’t know this until you’ve called several more times cos their staff doesn’t seem very knowledgable. Im getting very close to my due date now, but haven’t been able to register much more in advance due to moving circumstances from the other side of the coast. I’m 36 weeks and 4 days and I’m desperately hoping I won’t give birth before I can finally register.
Regardless of their receptionists or call operators who don’t seem to care about navigating you to the proper line, they do have some really great nurses and doctors.

Front desk for ER is horrible!!! So rude and ignorant! I wanted to go with the patient inside and I wasn’t allowed to? Why? Why aren’t people allowed to go inside? Does that make any sense? What if the person needs help, support, or advice? And if I’m not allowed then fine! At least explain to me nicely! They were yelling! And threatened to call security and have me kicked out. just cuz I wanted to go inside with my family member! All staff seems angry and just rude ! A hospital is suppose to be a nice.friendly.helpful place!

Food choices in the cafeteria are great. However, the same cannot be said for the cleanliness of the cafeteria. There were more dirty tables than clean ones and used napkins and utensils on the floor. I could accept this at an elementary school cafeteria, but not at a hospital. There seemed to be plenty of staff memebers availible to clean up, but none of them seemed motivated to do so. If my wife and I were not forced to give birth here by our OBGYN, we would have probably picked another hospital. That being said, the actual medical staff has been nothing but polite and friendly. The rest of the hospital appears clean and sanitary.

If I could leave the ‘STAR” part blank I would. The actual staff I have interacted with regarding my wife’s pregnancy has been a 10 Star rating. This poor review is for the Older woman that works the front and answers the phones. She has treated us very poorly the first time we had an emergency and all I did was get her name and that’s all. I should of reported her then but did not. So here we are now, almost one hour removed from a near emergency and I still have not received a call back from a DR. I am at the point where I am convinced she didn’t even send my message through. She is very rude and put me on hold while I was asking for help. My Brother is a Cardiologist and not a day goes by that he doesnt appreciate his job because he is in the field of saving lives. If you do NOT LIKE YOUR JOB MARGARET FATTI then resign because medicine is not a joke!!!

The only reason why I continue to come back is for Dr. Joyce Bonsu otherwise this hospital would get 1 or 2 stars. upon check in the receptionist was checking me in and up comes this strange women holding a conversation with her. Come to find out it was her cousin and her cousin thought I was a girlfriend just sitting in the Patient’s chair chatting it up with the receptionist. After the receptionist got a chance to cut the cousin off everything went smooth. The Nurses in the Pre-​op area are all excellent and the Anesthesiologist Dr. Nguyen was the best very comical and definitely knows how to make a pt. Calm. All in all it was an ok experience. Will definitely come back for Dr. Bonsu!

This is one of the most beautiful Hospitals in the Baltimore area and have some of the nicest and friendliest doctors, nurses and techs I have every met.

This review is for the Pediatric Department. My daughter was in the ER yesterday and was admitted, where she was in the Pediatric Department for a short stay. I am amazed by how caring the nurses and doctors were, they were on top of everything! There were two student nurses working the floor today (April 7^th) and they were so great with my daughter! They made sure she was taken care of, they were very friendly and answered all of the questions we had. I forgot their names, but one was a female and one was a male. You are teaching them well! They will make fantastic nurses

Like a jail here. Can’t go bk in ER w/​fam member. GROSS ALERT-​nurse dropped pain pill on floor she was about to give a patient. Told him she’d get a new one. He says don’t worry about it. She picks it up off the nasty ER floor & gives it to him!!! Health hazard. A nurse??! Omg I’ll never be back in this nasty place.

This is for their billing department… for being a Catholic affiliated hospital, it’s ironic that I have experienced the most unhappy, rude people in this office… Never have I been treated so poorly and without an ounce of compassion… God would not be proud!

After suffering pneumonia for several days after being diagnosed and treated at an urgent care clinic and with the symptoms becoming progressively worse (with intense chest pain, I called 911. The EMT determined that I should go to St Agnes emergency room, the emergency room is the only reason that the hospital doesn’t get 5 stars. After diagnosis, it took fully three hours to clear the emergency room and get assigned a room. I cannot say enough good things about the staff on the floor to which I was assigned, nurses, doctors, therapists, house keeping and food were outstanding.

If you have an appointment you might want to arrive 60 – 90 minutes early. The medical staff and doctors are wonderful but the intake staff do not fit with the rest of the recently renovated hospital. Horrible intake service and long wait times are made more frustrating by a lack of empathy.

Amazing Emergency Room
I was diagnosed with neurological disorder in which I am ashamed although, I understand that it may be a common condition. I occassionally have spells and have pretty much refrained from a lot of socializing. As a former employee of the hospital, I can honestly say that the hospital staff ALWAYS provided me with the very best medical care, protected me from embarassment and never passed judgement. Therefore, I was never afraid while working anywhere in that hospital. I could concentrate on my job and not my condition.
They have an absolutely wonderful ER staff that really work diligently to provide excellent healthcare. Although it may get busy, things are well organized. The staff is courteous, caring, gentle and friendly despite some of the impatient, aggressive and verbally abusive patients/​visitors.
I will not discuss hospital cleanliness in the patient care areas… The food is passable in more ways than one… LOL! …but, it is a hospital so, what do you expect. :)

The emergency room is a bit on the slow side. It is closer to my house but if I got hurt and was in the Randallstown area I would rather drive myself to St. Agnes Hospital than go to Northwest Hospital. Never had too much of a problem here other than the slow emergency room.

I really don’t like emergency rooms but I had hives so I had to go ok experience they really changed the whole décor and colors, it’s nice. Of course and ER wouldn’t be one if you didn’t meet that one nurse who act like she doesn’t want to be at work and it’s your fault but other than that the doctor was nice, waiting time wasn’t an issue this time

A family member recently underwent an outpatient procedure here and we could not have been more pleased with the facility and staff from A-​Z. Being in the hospitality industry, and new to the area, we actually believe we received the best customer service and encountered the friendliest people in all of Baltimore at St. Agnes.

Slow staff…
I have came to this hospital to wait in the emergency room seemed ok like the could handle the traffic of people coming in and heard they have a good staff, but this visit was totally different, I went to visit my daughter who just given birth to my first granddaughter. Everything was fine with the nurses and doctors, overly helpful and friendly.
The problem came when we left the room about 10pm we go back to information desk to retrieve our Ids, there was no one in sight no note no sign no nothing. So we called security, they gave us the new location to pick up our Ids we were on first floor had to go to ground floor walked a maze headed to the emergency room entrance. As we are walking, we see two staff members of security just a talking and playing with each other they were not paying attention. We are at the entrance the staff member there says no you are at the wrong place go back, she sends us back to the two staff members that were playing, now they what to mean mug people, all I want is my Id back to go home. It takes them awhile to find them smh. Finally we receive them and have to go back to first floor, now it two staff members there the male was trying to pick up the other staff member rolling eyes as we passed by… no sure why people obtain jobs they don’t want to do… with so many who would jump to the chance at having a job.
