I have yet to attend, but I’m not impressed at all. I transferred from University of Maryland, College Park which is a head a shoulders better school than University of Baltimore, but I was attracted to the convenience of not having to take the train everyday, the small classes, and what I thought would be more attentive staff. I reached out to the Diversity and Culture Center a week back and they have yet to return my calls and unanswered emails. It’s a much smaller school than UMD, but yet UMD was a lot quicker and more attentive with their students needs. I seriously made the biggest mistake of my life transferring here.

A great, accessible, affordable public university in the heart of Downtown Baltimore with a mission toward civic engagement and improving the City and region. Baltimore is its campus. Check out the College of Public Affairs for all things public service (government, nonprofits, heath and human services, and criminal justice). Its Schaefer Center of Public Policy offers additional professional education in its Certified Public Manager programs. Top notch, award winning faculty with a deep commitment to teaching and learning… but also some world renowned scholars.

I am an online student of UB and was finally able to physically visit the school. I literally fell in love with it and am so glad I decided to enroll here for graduate school. The employees of the university are so nice, respectful and helpful. I picked up my Bee Card (ID card) and the man in this office was so nice and helpful. I literally stayed and spoke to him for about thirty minutes. I’m so grateful that I will soon be able to call this my alma mater.

Is it possible to check-​in and review a giant construction project?
Okay, I kid, but the University of Baltimore has been working on that massive building on Charles and Mount Royal forever now. I know I’m not the only one who is not a fan of the traffic.
As for the buildings, I’ve only been in the Liberal Arts and Policy building to use the computer lab, but it’s recently renovated, modern, but still has that old scholarly Baltimore feel because they left in the gorgeous and authentic stained glass windows.
My only issue — there’s not a soda or snack machine in the entire building. Girl just wanted a bottle of water.
