The Sleep Technicians and physicians are great; upbeat, professional, and caring. If the experience involved only them, I would give the practice 4 stars (a star is lost due to the yucky hospital building). Unfortunately, the administrative staff is beyond the WORST! They act as if they are doing you a favor by doing their jobs, they never return phone calls, and trying to get them on the phone takes an act of Congress. Once you finally spend months getting through two sleep studies (for which your insurance company will be billed almost $ 20,000 dollars and which will cost you thousands of dollars out of your own pocket), all that remains is for the administrative staff to fax your paperwork to a medical supply company. It would be a huge mistake to think they can accomplish this very basic task in under a week! As someone who previously managed a physician’s practice, I find this level of customer service to be completely unacceptable! They appear completely unaware the tens of thousands of dollars my insurance company and myself are paying cover their salaries. Do yourself a favor and patronize a different organization if your insurance company permits. If not, be prepared to make dozens of phone calls to accomplish even the simplest of tasks, stay on top of them every minute of the day, take nothing for granted, and expect the worst. It will be approximately six months before you receive a CPAP machine and the treatment you require.
