Worst service experience I’ve ever had with any company. First repairman came and then left without telling us. Went to check and the problem was not fixed. That meant making another service appointment. That repairman didn’t show up but claimed he did and that he got no response — not possible. We were home and the dog would have barked. Agent issued an escalation order for him to return — we were asked to be home another 3 hours — he didn’t show. Now I am asked to wait at home tomorrow for 3 hours for yet another repairman. So far, 3 hours troubleshooting online plus 7 hours at home trying to get a basic problem fixed. DON“T GET COMCAST!!! Anyone else would have to be an improvement.

Choose any other provider if given the chance. I am forced to use this evil corporation only because there are no other options in my area. Their customer service is a joke, Billings are incorrect and equipment is faulty. The 1 star rating is 1 too many

We recently moved to Baltimore and are forced to use Comcast in our area. I cringed when I heard this but my boyfriend had not read the horror stories yet and was cheerfully optimistic. Ha…
Fast forward two weeks. No hookup yet. No one has shown up for appointments. He calls every day and a rotation of things happen: he is told someone will be out that day (no one comes), he is put on hold and left there on purpose upwards of an hour, and he is told there is no record of any prior calls or appointments.
Going on the third week and it is a joke. Oh, and my boyfriend’s cheerful optimism has turned in to jests of slashing the comcast van’s tires if anyone ever shows up so they can’t leave until they actually solve the issue. That’s comcast for ya boo.

I can’t believe the FTC and the BBB is allowing comcast to operate in the way they do. The prices are outrageous. Their websites are tailored to never give you a downgrade service option, their customer service is poor. The whole business module is based upon greed, and they hire the most incompetent people. I look forward to the day when comcast goes out of business. Who are they in bed with to be able to operate in the way that they do?

Absolutely, positively, horrible. The first ESPN Monday night football game and while travelling I could not view the ESPN video stream on my Iphone. I am dropping cable as soon as I return home. It makes no sense to have an app that will allow you to view LIVE shows on the go when the video streaming always has errors. Ridiculous!

Another terrible giant internet service provider strikes again.
They might even be worse than Time Warner.
Comcast may train its customer service employees to seem friendly (asking how your day was), but if they can’t solve your problem, it’s still bad customer service.
Beware of the sneaky charges and unnecessary bundles they try to saddle you with. And good luck getting the same quote from the various array of customer service agents you keep having to reach out to as your problems persist.
We as a country really need more competition and startup service providers or perhaps the government should step in as they have with public utilities and the electric companies. One way or another things need to shift.

I will be seriously surprised if this post even goes through, considering how spotty my internet connection has been lately. Come on, Comcast, there are people here who have THINGS TO DO that require a decent internet service! In my case, we are two adults in school who have to submit items online. But I know there are businesses who need even more than that, yet I hear complaint after complaint, and still nothing is rectified.
We have had Comcast for the last 2 years because where we live in the city, we are limited on options. It’s Comcast or satellite. Apparently Comcast has a deal with Baltimore City that they have Verizon locked out of the city until 2017. Way to monopolize on that, huh?
Anyway…for the last two years, things have been sort of okay. in fact, I could have given them 3 stars a couple months ago. However, in the last several weeks, it has seriously been awful. I have lost count on how many times PER DAY we would lose internet connection while I was trying to work on school or taking care of work items. And of course the tv goes out at the same time because the service is connected.
So we call and call and call to complain and their response «we can credit you for the interruption…» for about $ 1 per day. Wow. Thanks.
When we had the tenants upstairs tapped into our cable, Comcast never got that straightened out either. Comcast CONFIRMED we were the only active account at this address, but they never removed the unauthorized splitter that had been put in the [NOW BROKEN] connection box, nor did they replace the connection box for one that wasn’t broken. The first techs they sent were contract laborers, not Comcast employees, and wouldn’t you know, one of them began making late-​night house calls for a couple days to visit one of the girls. I’m sure it was «strictly professional.» There was one night I heard drilling and cutting going on until around midnight, and it sounded as though he was fishing wires through the wall; everyone said it wouldn’t matter if he did because the service wouldn’t feed off that type of connection. And then he left shirtless. Interesting business tactics.
Another tech tried a few things on multiple visits before he finally cut their cord that fed upstairs. Things were a bit better for a little while. Then we started having issues again.
Tech after tech visited the property, and last week, one said they have to gain access to our neighbor’s back yard because that was where the tap was. Okay, we got written permission & made the appointment for him to come back. Next visit they determined it was ANOTHER neighbor’s yard we had to go into. Repeat with the permission and next visit. And of course all of the techs have to call a supervisor when there’s another problem. So why not just SEND us a supervisor when there have been ongoing problems in the first place??? Then they promised they’d call back at whatever time, which they didn’t. So when we called instead to touch base, we got more run around… oh, I didn’t get to speak to so-​and-​so yet.
It was ridiculously redundant. And it was time to just call it quits. So we have.
By this time next week we will have satellite, which I have never used. I can only hope there are no issues with them.

Comcast Business Class has no class. Our business has been without Internet and phone service for three days. I called and set up a repair and they give me the following day between 10 and noon. I arrive at work extra early and wait until 11:45am before I call to ask, «Where’s the tech?»
I’m told they rescheduled me for the next day. WHAT??? I complain and they put me on the «expedited list» to arrive today between 1−3pm. I wait until 3:30pm to call and ask, «Where’s the tech?»
I’m told they rescheduled me for «tomorrow» and now I want to cuss but I’m a pastor so I bite my tongue. I complain again and they say, «Your still on the list for today.» I stay at the office until 7pm with no tech and no explanation. It’s 8pm when I post this message but still no call.
Buyer beware!

The Comcast Cisco DPC3939B Business Internet vertical modems are defective. The recent firmware update put 3 of my offices out of business. I have 11 offices that use Comcast Business Internet and the last 3 that were using the Cisco modem could not properly connect and it was impossible to use the VOIP phones. Comcast would rather send out technician after technician to come up with another excuse instead of identifying the problem. Comcast would rather blame everyone and everything else that is connected to the internet for their problem. We changed everything back to the old SMC modems and that fixed the problem. I am hoping this complaint will save some other Comcast customers lost revenue and the headaches that they put us through. Maybe Comcast will issue a memo to their technicians to let them know this is known problem that has been going on for a year.

I have been working with Jeff for a couple weeks now– I moved my service from Montgomery County to Baltimore City; thinking this process was going to be dreadful.
In all reality my cable and internet service have been no bother; my head ache has been my loan officer. but we’re not going there.
Any who, about this Customer Service–
Jeff has been so personal remembering things about my account and me in general from previous conversation! He sets reminders to call me back around the quoted time, he follows up to ensure that those items discussed were actually completed by technicians, etc. When there was confusion at a different Comcast location (Rockville, MD & the call center; the representative had little to no knowledge) he certainly made up for it!
He is even going to monitor my account for the next week to ensure proper billing.
I couldn’t be any happier with the customer service that has been provided. :)

Seriously, Comcast, how cheap do you have to be to satisfy your stockholders? I waited for an hour there. There were not enough places for people to sit, so people stood. And stood.
Not having restrooms for customers was another nice touch.
Now here’s the upside: the staff was extremely police and helpful. The man who waited on me couldn’t have been more professional at the end of what have must have been a very long day.
(I went there yesterday to get an HD box.)

This review is not about this location but more about the service.
I came from an area that had Verizon fios. I did not experience the service issues or inferior level of customer service.
If you have the option although it may be a little more expensive choose. Verizon.

Absolutely terrible service and worse customer service.
Xfinity «high speed» internet service in 21 224 has been incredibly slow for months now. In the past two weeks it has been too slow to do anything so I finally called tog get a technician to come out. Two hours and fifty minutes collectively on the phone with Comcast customer service and troubleshooting, over two waiting for the technician to show up for our 6:30 appointment (he got here at 8:45), and then another 20 minutes on the phone with Comcast after he left trying to get the brand new modem to work.
I was told by the customer service rep that Comcast does not have a costumer complaint center, and there was not an individual to whom I could make a formal complaint. Bad internet service, worse customer service — stay away.

I have been a Comcast customer for over 20 years. «Upgraded» to X1. — huge mistake. 3 of 5 TVs don’t work. Repairmen have been out twice. Still doesn’t work. Waited on hold for almost 30 minutes each time three days in a row. Rep said a manager would call me. But didn’t. On hold again — waited 25 min for an agent, then she put me on hold and never came back (I waited over 30 min).
I called again — waited 40 min on hold then was disconnected again. I will be canceling my service if I can ever get someone to answer the phone!

Comcast loves to constantly change its prices. If Comcast were to just offer less promotions and reduce its normal prices, it wouldn’t have such a horrible reputation.
Unfortunately it is always looking to raise your price the second you aren’t watching and forces you to complain in order to get a normal rate. Will continue to do everything in my power not to deal with this company.

This place is worse than the MVA and the hours are terrible, if you roll up at 6:25 — 6:29 they won’t let you in and they’ll be really rude about it. I honestly feel bad for the people who work for Comcast Customer Service — it’s not their fault the product sucks so bad

Technicians: super nice for the install.
This review is for the product/​service offered, rather than an office.
Quality of service: so sad. Use it mainly for internet, which is ok if not skippy during peak hours. The TV services is completely horrible. Long list of movies that they DON’T have, only «clips» and I was halfway through watching a series show and they removed it from the play list.
If I do find a movie to play, you have to set the quality to Low and plug in your ethernet cord, so the picture is all glitchy. I miss the cable company I had in Dallas… Comcast is a sad monopoly.

I have to give this customer service center 4 stars because the center itself is reliable and the representatives are very helpful. Comcast as a service is absolutely awful and unfortunately I have to have service through them for my apartment complex. I won’t focus on venting on the service.
The service center is always quick or as quick as they can be with customer turn around. Unfortunately some of the customer service representatives aren’t as polite as you would like.
Dealing with Comcast online and through phone has been horrible and never reliable but every time I come in to the center I am able to speak to someone one-​on-​one to get everything taken care of. I am currently at $ 120 for free 3 months of HBO and plenty of channels on cable as well as Blast! internet. I’m not 100% sure in comparison of different companies rates but I believe I’m getting a pretty good rate.
I’m very satisfied right now with Comcast and would recommend it for cable. If you are told they are going to send out a technician to set-​up a cable box or something related to installation, mention to them that you would like to self-​install it. It will take at least $ 50 off your monthly payment for that installation fee. Enjoy!

People who live on welfare provide more to society than the losers who work here. I would give them negative ten if I could.
Here is the story, they billed me twice for one month. When I called they told me that they could not help me over the phone and I would have to go in. When I get there, the lady tells me that I can’t do math. After showing her basic math on the calculator to show how my bank account had been billed twice the amount of what she said I should pay each month, she told me that I would need to get a bank statement and bring it to her. I asked her if I could look at the records that they had. She said they don’t keep records. I said that it’s messed up for them to make me go to my bank and that they should keep records of the money they take form people, she called me racist! WTF! I have never felt so insulted in my life. So I drive to my bank, and the bank teller (Citi Bank) tells me that they have this issue 10 times a day with Comcast. I get by bank statement and go back. They look it over and tell they will credit my account. I tell them that due to them being so bad I am discounting my account and would like a check, but nope they can’t do that.
I will never go back to comcast.

Dumber and Dumber of the utility business. This is NOT about the White Marsh store which is usually very helpful and efficient. This is about the company itself. The network hangs on a regular basis and it just stops at times for 5 minutes or more. Today, I had a tech appointment scheduled from 11 – 1. (Even had a call the day before to confirm) The day of, I get a call confirming it is 1 – 3. ??? I never changed it. Then at 2:57, I get ANOTHER call saying they’re running late (really?!) but will be there is no more than 20 minutes. 50 minutes later, no tech. I guess they might come today. Maybe the tech is at McDonalds? Hard to say because they admitted they don’t actually know where he is. That’s quality @Comcast. Why don’t I switch? FiOS tells me my HOA won’t let them in the neighborhood. Great… Does AOL still do dial-​up?
