I got the jerk chicken, potato salad and rice/​beans for 7.00 and I couldn’t eat it all. It’s delicious, not as spicy as most jerk chicken but very flavorful and perfectly cooked. I have also had the brown pork and it is amazing. I’ve had a hard time eating anywhere else since moving to Bangor!
The Jamaican orange soda is great it is like carbonated orange koolaid.

If you like spice and something offbeat, you gotta try this place.
I ordered the goat curry, the oxtail and jerk chicken. Goat was tasty and tender; oxtail ditto and for some reason seemed like Hungarian osso buco if there is such a thing; jerk chicken was fiery but less exotic.
Chances are that you and your mate do not both like spicy dishes. Solution is to stop here and also at KFC.
Later on I will report on the curry pork and maybe the breakfast.
Veggies were bland and coleslaw was conventional.
The entire staff (the owner) was friendly and attentive and as authentically Jamaican as the food, maybe more so.
I can’t imagine how such an oddity exists in Bangor but it’s here and ready to tickle your tummy.

Wonderful take out restaurant, and to make it even better, the «small» portions are around 6 or 7 dollars, are large, AND come with two sides!!! I highly recommend the jerk chicken and chicken curry! The potato and pasta salad are two sides that are just to die for! The staff are incredibly friendly, and get your food out to you fast! Love this hidden gem here in Bangor, so glad to have it nearby!

DAMN! I was looking for anything open after 9pm and saw this place. I called in take-​out, Jerk chicken w/​rice & beans and coleslaw. I paid and took it home. I should have taken a picture. The chicken was done perfectly with the right amount of heat. Large portions, too!
This place will be on my roster of great Jamaican take-​out «mon»! Will definitely be back.

Great people, strong and distinct flavors and healthy portions. This place is excellent. I had the ribs. Very tender and I had the hot sauce that «would make your throat bleed.» It was hot and flavorful. Will go back soon!
