We are Mount Desert Island’s première and premier running tour outfit. We’re the first! And the fanciest!
We offer guided running and hiking tours of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We run at a casual pace with periodic stops so you can catch your breath while enjoying the breathtaking views. We’ll also give you a healthy dose of local history and re-enact our versions of some of Mount Desert Island’s most significant historical moments. Think of it as theater on foot!
We encourage runners of all levels to join us. We promise we won’t leave anyone behind!

Andy and Liz met while performing improv comedy in Chicago and decided to marry their passions for entertainment and running shortly after marrying each other in Bar Harbor. Andy grew up just outside of Portland, Maine and graduated from the University of Maine, just over an hour away from the island. Meet the Business Owner
Liz and Andy P.
Business Owner
Liz started running in 2008 when she realized her diet of polish sausage sandwiches and Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza was no longer sustainable. She has completed five marathons, six half marathons, and a gaggle of other races in her relatively short running career. Liz’s motto is: «Slow and steady wins the race. Actually it doesn’t. But man, slow and steady is way more comfortable than fast and erratic.»
Andy started running when his cousin Sharon babysat him for the first time. He ran track in high school, double timed in the United States Army, and has run recreationally since. He’s completed four marathons (including Boston!), four half marathons, and many other races. Andy’s motto is: «If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em…preferably later… and for a beer.»
