History

Established in 1978.

1979– American Bathtub Liners (ABL) is founded to offer bathtub liners to hotel and motels.

1982– The Re-​Bath® dealer network is formed to offer bathtub liners to homeowners. The company’s bathtub liner becomes the first tested and approved by the Uniform Plumbing Code.

1984– ABL gets national contracts with Best Western, Quality Inn and Holiday Inn.

1991– Re-​Bath® switches from a dealer network to a franchise network.

2004-​Re-​Bath® becomes a full bathroom remodeler.

2007– DuraBath® SSP is introduced. It’s an exclusive, patented material that won’t crack, peel or fade with time and resists mold and mildew.

2011-​The introduction of the DuraBath® SSP walk-​in tub is one of many new product innovations to come, including low threshold shower bases and new colors, textures and accessories. There are 236 franchises.

2012-​Solidifying its full bathroom remodeling offering, Re-​Bath® partners with dozens of national product vendors in its Preferred Vendor Network™.
