Bartlett Tire & Auto Service

This is the only place I will take my car for repairs. They don’t try to screw you over and they go out of their way to save you a dollar! They are also quick!

Where do I even start? It’s like the clouds parted one day and there was Bartlett Tire & Auto.
I have been present for quite a few interactions and transactions now and each time I am more and more impressed.
My first visit was with a friend. Jim was nice and happy to educate us without making either of us feel stupid.
My next visit I was under duress to deal with what was wrong with my car. Again Jim took care of us and instead of selling me down the river for high priced repairs, he was a straight shooter, took care of my car for a reasonable price and made me feel confident about my choices.
Since then, I’ve been referring anyone who asks to go see Jim. I don’t know much about cars. It’s written all over my face when I walk in the door, but I feel respected and never taken advantage of at Bartlett Tire and Auto. I’m grateful to have such good people to help take care of us and our safety when it comes to our vehicles. We are definite fans! Big ones!

This place is horrible they do half ass work and they’re soooooo rude! especially when you don’t want to get there crazy over — priced work done with them, plus there are alot of other places in the area i can go, so why the hell would i go there again? If you wanna go there then good luck, maybe you will get lucky and they will do the job right… but why take the chance if your going to spend your hard earned money at least go somewhere they will do a half decent job!

I came in with a flat tire and was in a hurry to get back to the city. They took me right away, said it would take about an hour to try to fix. 35 minutes later, my tire was fixed! A big plus was the little kids waiting area with little chairs and paper with crayons to color. It kept my toddler busy while we waited. Thanks to Anthony and their team!

I love these guys. They are so nice and honest… I feel like they have my best interests in mind when I ask about other services I might need when I come in for an oil chance. In fact, they have not tried to sell me on anything extra in the year or so since I switched to them. The dealer was always scheming new ways to take my money. The waiting room is your typical, a bit grimey, but they have a couch and cable TV to keep you busy while you wait. Also, convenient to walk over to 7 – 11 or other stuff nearby. I even walked over to Tom’s fresh veggie stand once, while waiting for my oil change. I’ll keep coming back.

I had go go out to Bartlett for my cousin’s funeral, and wouldn’t you know it, we pull on the highway & I look over to see the passenger in another car waving wildly. «You have a flat!» she yelled, pointing at the back of the car. We didn’t feel anything, so thank goodness she told us. We went to a gas station off the next exit on the highway to find in was nearly completely deflated. Being in the position we were in, we filled it up & hoped for the best. We made it to the funeral on time, but when we left the tire was beyond deflated. An employee of the funeral home helped us out by using a portable inflation thing you plug in to the cigarette lighter (we should definitely get one of those) and directions to a nearby tire shop.
We arrived at the shop at 1:20 & the guy at the counter helps us right away. We told them the people at the funeral home had sent us their way (hoping maybe they’d realize we were in a pickle & had family things to get to) and he said they’d be able to look at the car in 15 minutes or so. We let them know we’re walking over to the burger king next door since we hadn’t eaten in hours. He said that would be no problem & he’d call us to let us know if the tire can be repaired or would need to be replaced. We left & ate, and when we got back we saw that the car was still in the parking lot where we left it with a flat tire. It had been 30 minutes. We went in & sat down & waited another 20 – 30 minutes (trying to be patient) before finally asking how much longer it would be. They assured us ours would be the next one. Another 20 – 30 minutes & they tell us it needs to be replaced (duh) and they don’t have an exact match but they have something close. I do have a very rare 2001 Saturn, right? We tell him to do it because otherwise we’re not getting home of course. Finally, just after 3, our car was ready.
Rather than spend time with my family during this difficult time, and having lunch with my parents, I spent nearly 2 hours getting a new tire. Awesome.
