Avnida Photography is a NJ/​New Jersey Newborn Photographer, specializing in the fine art of children’ portrait photography, including NJ newborn photography, baby photography, child photography, kid photography, family photography and maternity photography. Avnida is the work of newborn and celebrity photographer Harshita, who is a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and has traveled across the country to study under some of the country’s top newborn photographers like Julie Klassmeyer. She is an accomplished NJ baby photographer whose work in NJ newborn photography, child photography and maternity photography has been recognized as ‘perfectly perfect’ by top photographers in the country.

History

Established in 2012.

After earning two Masters of Science in Computer Science and spending 5 years writing code, Harshita gave in to her real passion. Photography, especially of newborn and kids. I love capturing the experiences of life, and the love in everyday moments through my lens. Cons:
Terrible on the business end, which i find with a lot of photographers, just wants to take pictures but poor follow through.
Bad communication. Lots of emails back and forth and shes not keeping track of anything. Said she mailed out a final product to me without even showing me a template of the collage that I requested (which happened to have 3 of the exact same picture)
And then made it seem like that was my fault and I should be grateful that she was redoing it for me.
Final product had good pictures, but not what i specifically asked for from the beginning, which was a canvas collage. What i got was a collage on something very different.
Recommendation: Its a gamble.
Recommendation for Harshita: Hire someone to handle the business side, not your strong suit.

I was searching to have my daughter’s 1 year photo session and I found Avnida Photography. Harshita responded to me quickly and we scheduled the following weekend. She was attentive to my needs so I can have photos for my daughter’s birthday. The session went great, and her photos are amazing. She captured beautiful smiles and moments during the photo session. I would recommend her to anyone looking for maternity, newborn, or milestone photos. Thank you Harshita.

Harshita is fantastic. Her work is unparalleled. We have used her twice for photos of my toddler son and have taken advantage of her holiday specials. She has a great personality for working with children and makes them happy… this makes for perfect photos. She also puts a lot of time and effort into her backdrops. My husband and I found Avnida Photography after doing an online search for newborn photographers in NJ, and we couldn’t have been happier to have found Harshita! We were very impressed by the samples of her work online and even more impressed after our personal experience with her. Having a very fussy newborn baby, we were very worried that our son would not do well during the session. The moment our baby boy began getting fussy at the start of the session, we thought we would be going home right away! However, our worries disappeared the moment Harshita began working her magic with our son. Harshita was up for the challenge and was so patient! She took her time and was so sweet with our baby. She’s also a perfectionist with great attention to detail, and so she captured so many beautiful shots that we will forever treasure. We would also like to note that in comparison to other photographers that we reached out to during our search, her pricing is very reasonable. We have already recommended her to our friends and family and look forward to working with her again!

Fabulous! We loved working with Harshita for the following reasons:
1. Perfectionist — we had 2 different shoots done (family/​maternity and newborn), and in both instances, she extended her time to take more photos to ensure she captured the right moments and spirit of each member of our family — and with an energetic 3 year old is no easy feat.
2. Quality — the images we received were absolutely beautiful, in structure and composition, but also in lighting. I am not a professional, but have researched a lot of «professional» photographers whose work do not compare. I questioned some color choices, but ultimately went with her choice and the photos came out better than I could have expected.
3. Trust — she developed an instant rapport with me, was patient with my kids and overdelivered on the product. She earned our trust and did not steer us wrong with any decision (creatively, which package to purchase, timing of shoots, etc.).
Avnida Photography and Harshita come highly recommended. We look forward to working with her again!

Harshita is by far the most professional photographer I ever worked with. She was so good with my baby girl and had so many adorable, creative props to choose from! The pictures turned out wonderful!
