History

Established in 1988.

Zarek’s passion for photography began at age six. In 1988 he opened his first studio servicing New York City and Connecticut. Wanting to be able to capture weddings more year round, Zarek moved his studio to California in 1992 and now services the Bass Lake area, the Greater Los Angeles area and worldwide with destination weddings.

Zarek’s love for photography some might say was in him since birth. At age 6, he received his first camera. He has had a camera in his hand ever since. At age 10 Zarek began printing his own black and white. He built his first darkroom in the basement of his parents house by age 11 and the love for this medium flourished through high school and into college. And the rest, as is said, is history.
