History

Established in 2002.

Drs. Matthew and Michelle Mix opened their first Chiropractic office in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. The business was a great success, with many wonderful stories of health and healing in the area. Unfortunately, Hurricane Katrina had other plans for the Doctors. After three years in business, the office was completely in ruins. After clean-​up of the office, it was decided to move to a little drier area. That brought the Chiropractors to the Austin area. Since then they have been practicing in Texas, and enjoying a very successful office in Bastrop.

Adjust is a term that Chiropractors use to refer to the Adjustment that occurs to the spine to remove interference in your nervous system. It is what Chiropractic is all about. So, with little deliberation, it was very fitting to name the office… Adjust.

Dr. Matthew Mix is the Senior Doctor at Adjust. He has a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Parker College in Dallas, Texas. He has been practicing Chiropractic for 10 years. His love for the profession shows not only in his commitment to the patients in his office, but to the help that he offers other Chiropractors in the Austin area.
