Ann Van Zandt – Bastrop Real Estate

I contacted Ann van Zandt to help me look for houses in the Bastrop area. The tricky part about our situation was that we are living in Florida, and I had never been to Bastrop. Ann was absolutely amazing! So enthusiastic, so friendly, and so easy to communicate with.
We visited family in Texas over the holidays, and looked at a few houses with Ann. Everyone who has any experience with real estate knows that the holidays are not a good time to look at houses. Sellers don’t want strangers in their house, agents need to spend time with their own family, and it can be very difficult to set up showings. Ann managed to get the houses that I was most interested in set up for 1 morning. She had printed out the information about each house, not just the page that is available on the websites, but also the extra information about flood plains etc.
While we looked at houses, she was very professional, gave us space to look, was close by to answer questions, and made us feel like she was part of our team. We did find a house that was perfect for our family, but, sadly, we had to decide not to go for it. The only reason we won’t be buying a house with her help, is because we decided that Bastrop/​Smithville was too far away from an elderly relative who will need our help in the near future.
I strongly recommend Ann van Zandt to anyone who is looking in the Bastrop area. If/​when we ever decide to go that direction, I will definitely call Ann to help us again.
