History

Established in 2011.

When Deborah and husband Glenn moved from Austin to Bastrop County in 2009, the dream to have a gallery in historic downtown Bastrop began to form. After a short time of showing her art alone in a small space on Main Street, she had the idea to form Art Connections Gallery where she would gather art of artists that she knows through various connections such as family, friends, neighborhood and shared interests and experiences. She also wanted a business committed to sharing with the community through giving a portion of sales to charities. A perfect location was found in a small historic building downtown and Art Connections was born in July of 2011. Growth happened and the gallery moved the spring of 2013 to its present location in a historical building at 908 Main Street.
