Go somewhere else! Their service is terrible and they do not do what they say they will do. They charged me twice, two different times, for a diagnostic fee and did not even diagnose the problem! The pompous lady that works there asked me to let her speak to my husband, since I did not understand what she was telling me. HA! What a little snoot! These people are rude, arrogant, and rip off artists!

Wonderful workmanship! Truck runs really good now! Honest and dependable, being a woman that MEANS A LOT! Definitely recommend!

took my car by today. The owner met me and he drove with me in my car. The brakes did not make any noise. He said it may be weather related. Wanted me to bring it back by on Thurs morning when the weather is suppose to be cold and wet. He did seem like he wants to fix the problem, but he has the hear it.

My parents live in Bastrop and Need for Speed came highly recommended so we took our car there instead of anywhere in Austin. They did a great job at a fair price! What more could you ask for in an automotive shop? And Jenny is fantastic! Will definitely use them again when I need an honest mechanic.

This place is owned by the same person who owns Danny’s Texas Pride. I had my transmission replaced at Pride and when I had a problem even though I had a 3 year warranty they would not take care of the issue. I had it repaired out of town and Danny was rude and arrogant not even listening to me about the problem. He just kept saying «you just want something for nothing» obviously they just want your money and not your repeat business.

no customer service, no politeness, and zero care about their customer’s wants. do not use this business for any of your mechanical issues if you do not want to be scammed into spending your hard earned money.

Up front and honest, no surprises here. I was referred to this shop by a local car dealership where I purchased my truck from to have an aftermarket exhaust system installed. They shot me a price for dual exhaust on my truck and I walked out the door paying exactly what we had discussed. Those nice chrome exhaust tips look amazing and my truck sounds GREAT!

I needed an allignment and was referred to the owner of this shop by the owner of the autobody shop I use, and was told he would take great care of me. I called this morning as soon as they opened (8:30am) to ask about getting an allignment and was told the following, «Uh, yeah you can bring it in but you will have to drop it off and pick it up at the end of the day. (Name of bodyshop owner) made all the money on repairing your car, so I am not just going to stop what I have going on today to allign your car, because I really don’t make any money on allignments. So you can drop it off but it won’t be ready until this evening» I was pretty taken back when I was told this in the first 30 seconds of the conversation and assumed I was just talking to a random employee or someone new possibly, that hadn’t quite refined their customer service and people skills, but was shocked to be told I was indeed talking to the owner. I have worked in varies areas of customer service for almost 20 years and have never spoken to someone like this, especially a new customer who was referred to you and highly recommended by a mutual associate. Granted I do understand what he was saying, but there is a right way and a wrong way to properly say those kind of things without coming off as a major A-​hole! I can tell you that I will NEVER go to this place, of their other shop they just opened on Hwy. 95 going towards Elgin, Texas Pride Automotive.
