Saints and Scholars Tattoos

The worst costumer service ever!!! I went to go get a tattoo that I have been wanting and doing research on. I looked up shops in Bastrop and this one had great reviews. I went in only to be greeted by the rudest man. The tattoo I wanted was on going to be on my hand (red string of fate). I have wanted it for a while now and have really thought about it, and thought about the fact that it would be on my hand. I still wanted. The man in the shop said he would not do hand tattoos because they would fade. I informed him that I knew that, seeing that this is not my first tattoo. I told him if it did fade I would pay to have it touched up every time. He then said that he will not give me my first hand tattoo, when I asked why he began to yell at me about how it was unprofessional and if I wanted a job that I can just cover it, and it was a bad choice for me to make. (I am 46 years old and I am my own boss. I think I can make my own decisions.) I was in shock. I have never been treated this was by someone I was trying to give my business too. Needless to say I will not be back. I went right down the road to the other shop in Bastrop and got the most perfect tattoo. It is everything I wanted and more. my favorite out of all 5 of my tattoos.

A throw back to the tat shops of the old days. Nothing fancy no hype just two incredibly talented artists plugging away the best originals and cover ups in town. The wall says don’t be a pussy and they mean it. Come and get quality tats and leave your whining and bitching at home. A shop that chooses integrity over money and turns away dumb tats and drunks. That’s my kinda place!

Amazing tattoo work and they are canvas artists. Great portraits, line and color work. The shop itself is worth seeing. The personalities are awesome, common sense people and great stories!
