Way2Diva

I just loved Ellie’s Way2 Diva… but she’s moved on and is no longer at the Mercantile. Boo Hoo. We’ll miss you.

Way2Diva is located in Downtown Main Street Bastrop. Downtown Bastrop has undergone somewhat of a rejuvenation, especially after the fire in 2003 badly damaged the historic R.A. Green Mercantile building (1022 Main Street). What has emerged is a «mall» of sorts for local small businesses and artisans. Ellee Peterson-​Johnson took one of the available spots to follow her post-​retirement dream, and opened Way2Diva.
I may not know a terribly large amount about what handbags, jewelry, or scarves are «in» at any point. I do know that while I was looking around Ellee’s shop, I saw several things (scarves mostly) that I thought the wife would like. And, when one fashionable Austin Unilocaler, who had just bought an adorable and very well-​priced dress, brings another fashionable Austin Unilocaler (who proceeeds to pick out her own adorable well-​priced dress) into the store, then Ellee must have something going on.
Special thanks to Ellee for even being opened on a Sunday for our group (looks like she’s normally Tue-​Sat, 10:30am-6pm). She was a pleasant and gracious host, and looks to have found a place to shine.
