A decent place to eat. I work next door at biw and drive by twice a day to and from work. I’ve heard it’s a great place to eat. My girl and I decided to go here for a impromptu date. We ordered the loaded fries as the appetizer. She ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. I ordered the medium shipbuilders pizza(ham, sausage, pepperoni and green peppers). We ordered a pitcher of bud light to split. Of the food came out at the same time. Not a big deal. But it would have been great to get the appetizer first. The food was good. My girls pasta was great. My pizza was ok. For the price of the pizza I expected better. But the food came out fast so I was expected. My big complaint, we got our food at 7:55 pm. They close at 9pm. So plenty of time to eat. Except we felt very rushed. The woman behind the counter started vacuuming and cleaning tables at 8. Rather loud environment.

Great little pizza/sub shop in the heart of bath. Every time I order I always get quality food in reasonable time. The staff is really friendly and always gets my order right. The prices are very reasonable also. If your in town looking for a sandwich, try their grinders!

I really like Midcoast, which is located right next to the Bath Iron Works shipyard. The food is solid, reliable; not spectacular. The folks running it are very nice, however, and I’ve never had a bad lunch here. Standard pizza, subs, salads and a little bit more offered. I usually get a hot grinder, like an Italian, or one of their chef salads. Quick, inexpensive and reliable. Not much to complain about any of that.
