Benny’s Car Wash & Oil Change

This is a great carwash to go to if you want your clothes and hands to get oily from all the cleaning product they don’t wipe up. Took an hour as expected. Car smells good but not worth paying for if you have to go behind them.

I just had my truck oil changed and it only took about 15 to 20 min. I always do full synthetic so with filter and tax it was almost $ 100 dollars. (6 quarts) You do get a free car wash. The service folks are friendly and you just sit in the waiting area, pay your money and you are gone. We use the car wash all the time and they are so close to the house using them is quick and easy. They also do my inspections and that is also a great experience and takes very little time. While they are good on Chevrolet trucks, I do not trust them with any thing on my BMW. That car goes to a garage that knows the more peculiar cars. I took my BMW there to get it inspected and they had no clue on how to do the emissions check. My Chevrolet was a piece of cake. They are great of what they know best. Don’t take them a Ferrari.

I spent a very frustrating morning at Benny’s. The staff was very nice but there not enough technicians to perform oil changes. I got there shortly after they opened and waited (in my car) almost an hour before they started doing the oil change. Shame on the owners for not staffing your business adequately. And, I don’t like that I have to stay in my car until after the oil change. I will now go to 5 Minute Oil Change where I know that I will be staying in my car!

Good luck vacuuming your car. 4 vacuums for express wash customers– staff occupied ²⁄₄ and the manager wouldn’t let customers use any of the probably 20 vacuums reserved for staff use that were all open. Never coming back!

They let my car run into another car, I paid for that car wash. They were rude to me about it. I was asked to get 3 estimates. I had to go in the morning before work. When I presented the estimates, they were again rude and said they didn’t need them. AWFUL experience.

Worst car wash/​oil change I have ever had. Oil change attendant accidentally hit the oil pump and sprayed oil all over my hood/​engine. 1.5 hours later, everything was finished and car was dirtier on the inside than when I brought it in. Had to pay 36 $ extra to get it properly cleaned. Disaster. Avoid this place.

I always come here for an oil change because I like that they wash and vacuum my car. Not thrilled with having to sit in the car through the oil change now. This us changed since my last oil change 3,000 miles ago.
I don’t really care if my power steering fluid isn’t the same color as new. (Insert other things they try to up sell you now.) It’s still doing the job, just change the oil and let me go on my way…
Came back to take away another star after they tried to make me drive it through the car wash too. I fussed and got out. I come here because it has always been «full service» — I don’t want to do all this mess myself!

This is my first time using the oil change service and I probably will not be back. You stay in you car while person after person comes up to the window and tries to sell you something extra. After the forth «no thank you» it was getting old. Other than that its just an oil change.
Edit: I wrote the review while getting the oil changed. The car wash after the oil change was nice. It made the sales pitches easier to put up with. I will be back, even if I am a captive audience for the extras.

I have used Benn’ys for years. I really like the new unlimited carwash option. $ 30 month and I get a $ 12 wash every week. Thats a good deal in anyone’s book!

the one on airline highway stole a knife I keep under my seat because I’m a single female who travels alone the knife was about a foot long so it wasn’t hard to miss but sticking out from under the seat just a little. nothing was done about that so the next time I went for an oil change I tried the one on Essen Lane today I had a carton of cigarettes sitting on my back seat which wasn’t open they opened it and stole a pack from it I talked with the manager named Gary he told me that he checked their pockets and nobody had it. .LIE! MY CAR WASN’T FINISHED YET AND I STARTED WALKING TO My car and I’M glad I did because they tried stealing My brake tag! NEVER AGAIN USING BENNYS THEY HAVE THIEVES THAT WORK THERE AT EVERY LOCATION

WOW! My poor car has been neglected to no end with recent constant travels, my girlfriend and 4 shedding like crazy dogs. When I got to Bennys there was a very helpful and sweet girl at the front to help me chose what to get. I knew my car needed everything done and she helped me choose the $ 18.00, wash in and out. We just came to the conclusion that they would just vacuum over the seat quickly and would not get all the hair out by no means. And I understood because I did not think with only $ 18 they should spend a lot of time and is understandable. While at my car I was thrown off because a male employee (didn’t get his name at all) was very polite and well mannered, which you don’t find often nowadays. He was really pleasant to talk with and we joked around. When I got in my car I could not believe how good of a job they did cleaning my car in such short amount of time. You would have thought I paid for a detailing package and I didn’t. They definitely will get my return business and I highly recommend them.

Wow! Blown away might as well have take my $ 155 and bought some scratch off tickets at least that wouldn’t be a total disappointment. A $ 155 detail should get you at the very least a clean vehicle. When I looked over my truck the backseats were not cleaned and there’s was some type of grease all over the inside of the truck. I brought to the attention of who I thought might have been a manager.
He then directed a couple of kids over to my vehicle where they proceeded to smear the black grease into my seat. They called it leather conditioner. If that is leather conditioner then I’m barrack Obama!?! It was black and greasy and the truck mats were still dirty, wet and placed in the back seat.
At the very least a sorry would have been in order. I would say thanks but there would be no reason to.

The staff is always friendly. The last time I was there I had the «big D» or whatever it is called — detailing and wax. They missed an area of road bitumen beneath the passenger door. They took the vehicle back and cleaned that area that was missed. Professionally run, and a pleasant experience.

I got a birthday coupon in the mail and was so thankful I didn’t waste it! As a mom of two, my car is one of the more neglected possessions we own, so it’s honestly lucky to get cleaned once in a lifetime! I was incredibly pleased with the customer service from the moment I called to inquire about the wait, which there wasn’t at all. They were incredibly fast, and even though I decided to call and speak with the manager, Billy, to ask them to vacuum (or perhaps re-​vacuum) my SUV’s trunk, I was once again pleased with how polite, attentive, and clear with communication they were. Truly no better way to go than having a team full of people quickly clean your car inside and out for you ;) Oh and I have to give them credit because my trunk was thickly covered in my dogs’ fur, so I probably would have opened the trunk door, screamed, and refused to touch it if I were them ;)

Benny’s Car Wash has always been my go-​to place, whenever I need full car wash with a bit of interior detailing. They are always quick to service my car, the price is affordable $ 22 (for a complete car wash, vaccuum & car scent), the service is top-​notch and they always have fresh popcorn (that my daughter absolutely loves). In all the almost 5 years I have lived here, I always go to Benny’s Car Wash. They have never disappointed me. I prefer this location because it is easy to get to and they vacuum my car instead of me having to do it. I never have time to clean my car, so this is worth the money I pay considering I only get it washed every 3 months or so.

I just left Benny’s extremely frustrated because they didn’t do their job as described and as requested. For the oil change, I asked them to please check my tire pressure because I knew they have not done it at least once before so I watched them this time by the windows. So when they just drove my car to the vacuum center I asked if they did checked and they said they will bring it back around which eventually they did. However when I got my car back and checked the pressure again, I saw that one of the tires was almost half of what it should be. So I had to put in air in my tires myself next door at B-​Quik. Sure it was almost 5 o’clock on a Sunday but now I even suspect if they even did an accurate inspection of my car! Also I had a transmission flush done the last time I was there back in Feb and on the receipt it mentioned that I needed another transmission flush which is pretty impossible due to the timing! One guy said «Yes we are doing our jobs,» although he said they will bring the car back around again and one guy said «maybe he didn’t know what pressure you wanted» when he saw that I had to do the tires myself!

**9/​7/​14 Update– This is the first time I went back to this location and kept an eye on them the whole time in regards to tire pressure and this time they did indeed check and added air in my tires so I’ve upgraded them another star. Plus they didn’t ask for me to get my transmission flushed again.
