I was trying to buy insurance for myself, spouse & 3 kids when i moved to La 2 yrs ago. so i welcomed an agent into my home. immediately when he saw i was a legally married lesbian he was rude and basically told me how i shouldnt be gay and ridiculed me & my family in my own home… i asked him to leave. i spoke to corporate about it and nothing was done not even a returned phone call. i used to live in chicago were i was married and myself & children were on my spouse’s work insurance but La didnt recognize our marriage so i was willing to pay $ 600 a month out of pocket to be back on BCBS but this is what i got instead. thanks BCBS!!!
