History

Established in 1980.

Group Novak LLC was founded in 1980 as Kenneth Novak Associates, Ken Novak Architect in Baton Rouge, LA. Ken Novak has been activlely practicing architecture for over thirty years. The firm became Group Novak LLC in 2001 and has continued to provide the same quality based architectural services and consulting in a timely and efficient manner. Ken Novak holds NCARB certification (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) which allows him licensing reciprocity throughout the country. He is currently actively licensed in Louisiana, Kansas, and Florida. Local projects of note include the McKinley High School Renovation, the Office of Motor Vehicles, and the St. Elizabeth Medical Plaza. The firm has been active in the post-​Katrina recovery of New Orleans having provided services to the State of Louisiana, the New Orleans Recovery School District, the Housing Authority of New Orleans (HANO), and Southern University in New Orleans.

Business Owner

Ken Novak is a licensed architect registered in Louisiana, Kansas, and Florida and holds National Council of Architectural Records Board certification. He is a graduate of LSU (1974) with a professional B. of Architecture degree. A native of Alexandria, LA, he graduated Bolton High School in 1969. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the International Code Congress (ICC). He founded his own architectural practice in 1980 as Kenneth Novak Associates, Ken Novak Architect (KNA) which is now Group Novak LLC.
