Dr. Hamed is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He received his medical degree from Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt. Dr. Hamed completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at St. Francis Medical Center and Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA (currently known as University of Pittsburgh). He practiced medicine full time at Baton Rouge Ochsner Health System specializing in treating musculoskeletal pain and electrodiagnosis. Dr. Hamed served as Head of Department of Physical Medicine & Rehab. More recently, he practiced medicine in the Hammond and Denham Springs areas. Dr. Hamed currently owns a private practice in the Greater Baton Rouge area.
