Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse Store of Btn Rge

Awful! I haven’t even made it into the store! I can not get anyone past the phone operator to answer the phone and I’ve called 5 times so finally I asked to speak to the manager still no answer so the third time I finally get someone and he tells me to hold just one min he will check and guess what??? He hangs up the phone!!! So frustrating

I purchased a washing machine, a dryer, and a refrigerator from this Lowe’s. I placed the order online and requested a ⁴⁄₁ delivery date… because that was when I was moving in and would be here. Of course they tried to deliver it the before then so I had to go up to the store and straighten it out when I got here. The large appliance employees were great and very helpful. Getting my delivery straightened out was fast and a pleasure.
While I was here, I purchased the additional things I needed for my new washer/​dryer (water supply hoses and dryer electrical plug). This is where they get docked 2 stars. There was only one lane open and the guy working the register was a Wiz Khalifa look alike that took his sweet time looking up the price of bolts and chatting up every customer in line. Maybe if he stopped being so nosey and asking what everyone was doing, what they did for a living, and their entire life’s story… just maybe the line would have moved a smidge faster.
Anyway…onto the delivery of my appliances. An hour after I left the store and straightened out the delivery mess, I received a call from the delivery driver saying that he was on the way. FANTASTIC! The delivery people were wonderful! They worked fast and did everything it took to get my appliance into my house and installed. They even popped the door off the hinges to get the fridge in without scratching it! They were great.

Three stars because the Lowes app has been a lifesaver at this store. It’s helped me find everything I ever needed. Which is helpful because as far as I can tell the employees here are only good for standing around, having personal conversations and occasionally stocking the shelves. I’ve never, not once had an employee at this location ask me if I needed help with something and I come here at least twice a week for the last three months. Par for the course in Baton Rouge though, so not surprising. Just frustrating.

I like Lowe’s better, mostly b/​c it’s by the house. You can’t seem to get good advice when you really need it at either one. Both have store brands that are probably manufactured at the same site in China. Both will sell you plants and then take them back when you kill them.
The one thing that makes this Lowe’s better than Home Depot…
It has a Subway in it.
