Podnuh’s Rib House and Grill

I used to eat Podnuh’s all the time back in the day when I was in high school. My friends and I would pick up a Six-​in-​a-​sack and pig out. Then we just stopped going to Podnuh’s. This location has been here a while, but I finally decided to give it another try. I was very impressed with what I got.
I ordered ribs and brisket, my friend ordered ribs and pulled pork, and another ordered a brisket sandwich. We had baked baked beans and potato salad for the sides. I thought the brisket was very good as did the person that ordered the brisket sandwich. The ribs were also good for Baton Rouge, and were quite tender. Everything was honestly better than I remembered it being. The baked beans were especially good. I could have a bucket of just the baked beans. The potato salad was a very wet potato salad and heavy on mustard. It was okay.
The pricing wasn’t bad either. It was a little under thirty dollars for all of the food and it was definitely enough to satisfy. I will definitely be hitting up this location again, as it is so close to where I am and it is pretty good.
