TNT Tint & Trim

Now my side window is starting to peel, this place is terrible. When I had my warranty work done on the back window they left hair underneath the tint, and claimed they couldn’t see the old glue because its «dark in the shop». They also «lost» my warranty papers between going in to set up the warranty work and coming back a few days later. I had a copy, so they had to honor it despite doing a bad tint job. I wouldn’t go back even for free warranty work at this point, which is thier goal I assume.

This place is garbage. The moment they take your money, there’s no turning back. Courtesy and customer service is out the window, and warranty’s are a joke to them. The tint job they did for our civic coupe had bad bubbles that were supposed to go away in 5 days. There was a scratch on the passenger window clear as day and night and there was «nothing they could do about it.» There were water marks running along the side of the exterior and interior of the car that they didn’t bother to clean. Last but not least, they drained the battery of the car dead and refused to do anything about it. Just disgusting business owners.

I was a walk-​in on a Saturday morning to get the two front windows of my car Louisiana legal. I came in as soon as their posted hours say they opened, but apparently they had been opened earlier and 3 cars were already ahead of me. Ok… so I dropped it off.
I called about an hour later to inquire about when they would close (because they’ve proven not to follow their posted hours) because I was going to go out of town and be returning prior to closing. I got the following response, «We close after we finish the last car.» When asked when they would get to my car and when they thought they would be closing that afternoon, I got «oh…sometime this afternoon.» Ok… thanks for the vague-​est responses I could have possibly gotten.
Around 1:30, I received a call that my car was done. I was out of town so I told them I would come pick it up around 3:30. I get there at 3:30 and the car is out front and the tint looks pretty good. However, they left cut up tint pieces on the floor board in both the driver and passenger sides and on top of the car and there were drip marks from the spray they used.
For the most part the tint is acceptable, except there is one hair in my passenger side front window. But nothing worth bringing it back. The bubbles have dried out, even around the hair and now I’m Louisiana legal and have passed inspection.

I called around a few different places asking for quotes and how long it would take to get my two front windows to the legal tent in Louisiana. They quoted me $ 140 and told me it shouldn’t be any longer than an hour and a half. I was fine with that so I made an appointment for a few days later. When I got there, I was then quoted 150 $. I explained how I talked to a lady on the phone and was told a different price. They figured it out. After an hour and a half a guy came out and told me it would only be twenty more minutes. Finally, after an hour after than I went and asked how much longer. My appointment was at 11am and I did not leave until 1:40pm. I was there for 2 hours and 40 minutes for just two windows!
Everyone was very nice and my windows look fine. I just can’t get over how I made an appointment and still had to wait that long.

Anyone in southeastern Louisiana can attest that our summers are nothing if not sticky and hot. In order to help keep my car cooler than an oven this summer and deflect at least some of the UV radiation that comes streaming through the windows, I decided to have ceramic tint added to my new TDI’s windows.
After getting a few quotes (all of which were very close together), I stopped here on the recommendation of a friend who had used them before. They did a fantastic job of explaining my options, and they were able to work me in the next day. They even came to get my car at my work, then came to get me when I got off (they were finishing up on my car). The owner is very professional and involved, and the entire staff treats each customer with patience and respect.
I can definitely notice a difference in the heat level in my car after it has been sitting out in the sun, and I am very happy with the film used and the quality of the work. The only surprise I’ve had is how much I love the look and feel of my car after TnT finished with it. Thanks, TnT!

I showed up on short notice without an appointment. My car was taken in within ten minutes. The staff was very friendly and professional. The waiting area was very clean and organized with lots of brochures and literature on the parts and services they provide. John tinted my Camaro in a little more than an hour. After inspecting it all VERY closely I can honestly say, it’s FLAWLESS. Great job by a great shop! I will be recommending them to anyone with car tint or accessory needs. Thanks guys!

If I could rate a NEGATIVE 5 star, I would. They tinted my car windows so poorly it was unbelievable. They put permanent bubbles in my tint that never sealed up, left hairs and trash under the tint, cut crooked lines, broke my rear window defroster in two spots, and left old nasty greenish brown liquid dripped all down the outside of my bumper all over my freshly painted car… and not to mention they left that nasty liquid dripped all down the black panelling and leather doors on the inside of my car. When I confronted the manager’s wife (who acts as the office manager), she started clapping her hands together as she talked to me (COMPLETELY rude and disrespectful even though I was letting her talk), so then I confronted the owner, John, who said he would fix the problem and asked how I wanted him to fix it but he would not do as I asked. He would’ve had to have taken the entire tint job off and restarted fresh, but he was not willing to do it. I asked for a refund and he would not give me one. So now I am stuck with a bad tint job on my car unless I want to pay another $ 350 for it to be done somewhere else (which would probably charge less than that). He says he put Solar Gard tint on my car, yet put a Diamond tint brand sticker on the window, and still yet gave me a MaxPro warranty card. He wasn’t consistent with anything he told me. The quote they gave me over the phone wasn’t even correct. They quoted me on SolarGard tint then upped the price on me when I brought my car to their shop. Even the amount of time to do the job changed from what he originally told me. He said bring it to him on a Friday and he’d have it ready by the end of Friday but no later than Saturday. So I brought it to him on a Friday at noon time and his tint guy didn’t even START the job till Monday and wasn’t finished with it till 6 p.m. that same day. There weren’t a lot of customers ahead of me either. He is the one that asked me to bring it to him on Friday at that time. I did what he asked, he didn’t do what I asked.
I will never use this service again nor do I suggest anyone else use them due to the lies they tell you. They are not consistent with their quotes, honest, professional, or accommodating… or just plain friendly. TERRIBLE service; so bad I contacted the Attorney General’s office to help me. That’s bad when you have to take things that far, but hey, you have to protect yourself in this day and age.
