History

Established in 2006.

Battle Ground Bicycle was established in 2006 by local entrepreneur and cycling aficionado Rick Lewis and his wife Jan Lewis. Rick took up cycling after overcoming colon cancer and needing exercise to stay healthy. According to Rick, «Cycling Saved my Life.» Battle Ground Bicycle is the work of over 20 years of knowledge in the bicycle industry. The Lewis’s were also fortunate enough to recruit some of the most skilled bike mechanics in the area to round out their all-​star shop.
