Best coffee in Battle Ground hands down! I love that they use dark chocolate in their mochas. Perfect balance of espresso and chocolate. Besides the awesome coffee the atmosphere in this old church is super relaxing. If you want a good place to study, write, draw, visit, play games… and of course… drink coffee, this is your place!

I love Old Town Battle Grounds! They have the BEST coffee in BG. Friendly staff and just a great atmosphere. Their chicken salad wrap is great and you have to try the coleslaw. I don’t even like coleslaw but theirs is amazing! If you like good coffee and great food this is the place to go.

It’s a good spot for this small town! They serve Stumptown, which in turn raises their prices. They have fresh pastries regularly. I was a little unimpressed with their customer service, and it was hard for me to find parking. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a good meeting spot with a friend, but maybe not to go in and grab a quick cup of coffee.

This is my favorite coffee in town. The atmosphere is one for catching up with friends, or finding a few min to yourself on a busy day. The staff are all so friendly and it’s easy to tell they love their jobs. The sandwiches are so fresh and delicious too. During peak hours, there may be a wait, but I know that and plan for it. I absolutely love the old church building and their big mugs of mocha with espresso whip cream. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm If you are visiting Battle Ground and looking for a good place to sit back and indulge in wonderful treats, this is the place to do it.

Coffee was pretty good! I had the peppermint mocha. They make their own whipped cream for the topping; it’s not that fake hydrogenated oil stuff.

GREAT food and very cool that it’s in an old church. Only three stars because no highchairs! I bring it up every time I go, but they still haven’t gotten even one highchair. A few would be nice for multiple customers to use at the same time tho. Please get some highchairs! Resorting to Unilocal

I really like this place… good coffee, great staff, great location. Wish they would install an exhaust fan — haven’t been in there in awhile as I don’t like going to meetings afterwards where I smell like hotdogs :(. Can get noisy just because of the acoustics of having a coffee house in a church vestibule.

This is one of my wife and I’s favorite places to frequent, and we usually don’t like to go back to many places more than once. Plus it’s in an old church which always gets extra points. While I cannot speak for the quality of their specialty coffee drinks, they do have stump town coffee that’s pretty good. I usually get the Chief sandwich and my wife usually gets the chicken wrap. We have never been disappointed there, the quality is always high. The Reuben is pretty decent too.

I ordered a ruben sandwich with a green salad. The salad was very fresh and I enjoyed to raspberry dressing. The sandwich which took much too long to prepare was not what I expect a ruben to be. Bread was good, but not cooked/grilled properly. There was about ¼ inch of meat(which was tasty) but the dressing and rest… lacking. The crowner was I asked for a cup of ice water. The cup was filthy. I took a picture but not sure how to post it. $ 8+ dollars for a half sandwich was too spendy for me to go back too often, even if the place was clean and great. This is Battle Ground. Bus your own tables, etc.

This place is one of my favorite! Not just for coffee, which is amazing!!!, but also there food which is equally as amazing! It is even just a good place for everyone to feel comfterble and all ages or kinds of people are welcome! For instance I’m in college and I love it and I see a group of pretty old men that hangout and even high schoolers and families and it’s just so relaxing a specially if you wanna do homework while enjoying some amazing coffee! I would HIGHLY recommend this place! It’s amazing, very relaxing, and the staff are so nice and never have they let me down!

This is an old church converted into a coffee joint. Clever name! I was in the area visiting a friend at her farm and stopped by to grab a bite and some tea. Battle Ground really doesn’t have much to offer, but this place was surprisingly pretty awesome! My friend ordered the«ultimate» breakfast burrito which had eggs, gravy, bacon, and salsa. I had a bite. Solid. The chocolate and cherry muffin was OK– not moist enough. I had one of the best cups of tea here. I usually always order Jasmine green tea– I’m not sure what brand they use but it was loose leaf and they steep it for you before serving. The temperature was perfect. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back in Battle Ground again, but I’d come back.

Best place in BG for coffee! Doesn’t have a drive thru, and the service is very slow. Which is a bummer but the coffee is yummy! Cool old church building, but it’s kind of dirty.

I have had great experiences at Old Town Battle Ground. There breakfast burritos and delicious, and the coffee is superb too. But… the prices are a little steep, but the friendly workers make up for it.

I came back again at the invitation of a friend. Great service, great coffee, and so on. I still find it to be a bit steep, but I have to give another star for the lady(I assume she’s the manager) who came down and KINDLY asked a loud group to quiet down to maintain a pleasant experience for everyone. She did it quietly and graciously; didn’t make a big fuss out of it. Well done!

I have been there several times for lattes-nothing outstanding. No crème de menthe syrup available. I tried their special Reuben sandwich once, and frankly I have had better Reuben sandwiches at Arbys restaurant.

Really good coffee. Went with a group of lady’s and we had a good time. They are a little on the slow side but I think that’s OK as they deliver quality drinks!

5 stars for comfortable hangout ambience, quality staff and excellent coffee drinks. 4 stars for food as it’s homemade flavor, but we weren’t blown away. We first were introduced to OTBG by teenage nephews who live in the area, as their father loves OTBG’s coffee and often takes them with. Apparently the family has also enjoyed meals there and rave about the sandwiches. They were right about the great coffee drinks and hot chocolate. They offer almond, soy and coconut milks too! Based on the older nephews recommendation I ordered the blended coffee mocha(aka frapuccino) made with almond milk. It was SOGOOD that I’ve craved it all week, but sadly live in Gresham. Today we returned with elderly parents for more drinks and food. We ordered ½ sandwiches for all of us, and one person ordered a side of coleslaw. Our sandwiches were the Reuben and BLT on Honey wheat, plus a custom built ham, Swiss, veggie and guacamole that two of us shared. We all enjoyed our food and were pleasantly full. Pics are attached. We were all happy with our food and would absolutely eat there again. Meanwhile, I’ll be craving the almond milk blended coffee mocha every single day while I contemplate selling my home and moving to Battleground.
