Tutoring With Hayley

Hayley is extremely organized and responsible. She schedules appointments in advance, and arrives on time and prepared. When I first hired Hayley, I was a bit vague in what I wanted her to try to accomplish with my son. He had gotten some particularly disappointing standardized test scores, and I wanted to make sure he would not fall behind. Hayley took charge right away, saying, «Show me your backpack!» and helped him organize his assignments and refine his study skills. She is very professional and yet personable, striking just the correct balance when dealing with a 13 year old boy. I never felt uncomfortable leaving them alone to work, and felt that they had a very amicable and fruitful working relationship. Hayley is also very diligent about keeping the parents involved and informed about the work they are doing and sharing any achievements or concerns.
My son looked forward to working with Hayley, and showed a new enthusiasm for excelling in school. He achieved and maintained a 4.0 grade point average while studying with her, which he himself credits in large part to his sessions with Hayley. She challenged him and gave him the tools to become a better writer, often bringing personally designed curriculum with her to meet his individual needs. Even though Hayley is no longer tutoring my son, she has made it clear to him that he is welcome to e-​mail assignments to her for review, which he has done on several occasions. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hayley to a friend — she is effective, hard working and dedicated.
Hayley has served as a positive influence and role model for my son. She makes him want to be more and do better. She has earned the respect and affection of my whole family. She is a lovely, intelligent young lady who has a real gift for teaching. It is for all these reasons that I am happy to recommend Hayley.
