History

Established in 1987.

I opened W W Contracting in Ann Arbor, MI, as a service for property management and real estate companies. We offered a one stop shop so to speak for everything relating to the repair, remodel, and upkeep for their student housing properties. Each year as classes ended, and many tenants went home for the summer, I would inspect my clients properties, and make any necessary repairs. I would also review all said properties to ensure they met the ever changing Ann Arbor student housing codes.

This idea was a huge hit so In 1989 I decided to offer my services to the private homeowner. Due to family obligations I decided to move the business to the Tri-​Cities area, and began doing mainly residential work in 1991. Then in 2009, I decided to re-​organize the business as an LLC, We still offer the same great service, but under what I feel is a name which represents what we offer to our clients; Peace Of Mind Building And Remodeling LLC.

Business Owner

I began working in the building trades, for my grandfather in 1977. I joined the United States Navy in 1982, and was was trained as a pipe fitter. After my discharge, I went back into construction. I worked as a journeyman plumber in Ypsilanti. I completed a carpenter’s apprenticeship recognized by the United States Department of Labor. I hold a carpenter journeyman’s card. While attending Delta college in the residential builders program, I maintained a 4.0 GPA, and made the Presidents list each term.
