Finally a reliable Chinese place in Bayonne! I had the chicken dumplings and the chicken and string beans. My boyfriend had chicken in garlic sauce. My dish was wonderful but I personally thought the chicken in garlic sauce was lacking in flavor, which is the only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars

I found out about this place from my neighbor, as I used to only order from Eat Rice in midtown (much more expensive & they only have large portions of most dishes). New Sunrise is local to me, has small & large sizes of almost every dish, is not expensive & arrives in 20 minutes flat. Food is hot, good, & has generous portions. I would not say it’s high end — but it’s standard chinese takeout.
We enjoy the chicken & broccoli, sesame shrimp (not on the menu, but ask for it), veggie lo mein & general tsao’s chicken.
