This place is one of the best pizzerias in the neighborhood. The food is definitely great, but the service has been going down. I’ve been ordering from this location for about 4 – 5 years now, but today, they claimed I lived too far and hung up the phone. They could’ve simply offered the option for me to pick it up. I think service is very important. It’s sad to say I will not be looking to order from here ever again. I have never been so infuriated with service in my life.

Wife and I took son to get some pasta. Had a chicken Alfredo w penne. We were impressed! Our picky eater ate a good half of it up and we had it and it was quite flavorful! Good sauce, al dente and chicken was moist and tasty! Good restaurant style quality. However still just a simple pizza place. Oh pizza was good too. A star less because of its pricing.

Im really suprised theres only 26 reviews on this place. I moved from flushing to bayside about 1.5 years ago and discovering(and being close to) Luigis is one of many reasons im happier here. This place is quite possibly the best quick italian take out(that means ALL food… pizza, pasta, salad, sandwiches… did i mention good pasta and salads?)…that i’ve ever had. Put the food here up against any place up and down Bell Blvd and you’ll see this place is a gem! Keep up the good work boys!

My favorite pizza place. The slices are so big which tastes out of this world. I recommend this place very much. The chefs are also very nice. The prices are pretty good. If you want something bigger than pizza their food is so good. The Linguine with clam sauce is my favorite. The wait for delivery is good.

This place rocks! I have never been disappointed. His chicken, pasta, broccoli rabe dish is to die for. Friendly staff and Luigi himself is a really nice guy! Will always be back…

This is the most delicious pizza you can get in the town of Bayside! The thin crust has great flavor, the right balance of chesse to sauce. I also highly recommend the sausage and chicken rolls in addition to the calzones. Great wholesome food!

My boyfriend and I finished an appointment/showing at a house nearby and were pretty hungry so we decided to grab a quick bite at Luigi Pizza before watching our movie at the AMC Fresh Meadows theater. The décor and ambiance is like most pizzerias you would find. There were a few tables and seats for anyone that wanted to sit down and enjoy their food. We approached the back of the pizzeria and I was delighted to see how many varieties of pizza and food they had. The pizza that stuck out most to me was the Caesar salad pizza because it just looked really fresh, tasty, and made my mouth water. My boyfriend and I ordered one slice each. I really like that the pizza had a crunch to it and I am not talking about just the crust, I meant with each bite. The Caesar salad slice had crispy chicken(it was actually crispy), romaine lettuce, cheese and Caesar dressing around the slice. The Caesar salad slice was absolutely delicious! I’ve never had a salad pizza as good as this one. I highly recommend this particular pizza for people to try. I’ve passed by Luigi Pizza once or twice by car whenever my boyfriend and I are in Bayside. i definitely want to check out Luigi again and try out more of their delicious pizzas and other foods.

Best pizza and food in town. High quality ingredients are used here. I have had better dishes here than in restaurants. Good service, nice staff and good service. I truly always enjoy the food at this pizzeria restaurant.

This pizza has all the right flavors but I can clearly tell that the ingredients are not of the highest quality. The mozzarella does not have the right texture and the tomato sauce was not made with enough paste. The crust is a bit too hard and the dough has been inconsistently made over my past few experiences. Once my onion and pepper pizza fell apart two times! 2 hours of my time and nothing to show for it. Other than that one occurrence, this place has been a go to place for a slice whenever I stop by for bagels on the corner.

Poor phone service, poor food, nasty on phone, didn’t accommodate someone with bad allergies, never order again from here

If you love whole wheat pizza, this is the place for you. The margarita slice is also good. The thin crust is just the right amout of crisp and the fresh basil is delicious. They have a stuffed pizza for those who haven’t eaten their share of vegtables, mighty good. Now the rice balls stand out from all the ones I have tried. They are packed with meat and peas with sauce on the side, second to none. When you gotta have a slice, slip into Luigis!

Ordered pizza from here and I was pleasantly surprised. The regular pie was thin and had a nice sauce to cheese ratio. It was tasty. After reading the reviews for the whole wheat pizza, I thought why not and ordered a pie. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed it. While it was thicker than the regular pie, it was not doughy and had a great crispness to it. The flavor was really wonderful. We also got the eggplant salad which was delicious, but swimming in dressing, however I was told by my sister that is not normally the case.

Fridays during lent = Pizza Too cold to walk for pickup so I ordered delivery. Someone on here recommended a shrimp parm hero so I went for it. I’ve got to say that I was pleasantly surprised! It came hot and fresh still crispy(I’m finishing the last bite right now…). Very happy! Escarole soup also came hot(can’t stand cold soup) and very tasty. Very hearty and great flavour. Pizza slice was good too! I will be ordering take out again.

5 stars for the best shrimp parm hero in Queens(and I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur). First off, it’s massive! They use a big hero bread and very large shrimp. There isn’t too much breading either. 2nd, they use a lot of sauce and cheese. Nothing worse than a dry hero. Lastly, the price is right. $ 9.50 for two meals for me in hero! Score!

I really like the plain slices at Luigi’s and most of their entrée’s Pizza is a tricky thing and everybody has their fancy. First I will tell you what I like in a regular New York Pizza slice and then you decide. It must be a relatively thin crust, not too thin, a bit of a doughy layer on top of the crispy crust is preferred. But most of all the bottom crust must be crispy and I like the sauce slightly sweet with a hint of basil with a nice molten cheese mixture on top. Also every New yorker knows that a fresh pie is not the best Pizza, a reheated slice gets that crust extra crispy and makes for Pizza slice perfection. So if you like what I just described, I would say Luigi’s can hit those marks about 80% of the time. Sometimes the slices get doughy, sometimes they’re so busy, they forget to brush clean the oven and you get these tiny charcoal pieces stuck to the bottom of your crust which I hate, but the pizza is good and if they could be a bit more regular with the pizza oven brush, it would be perfect all the time. As far as Entrée’s are concerned, the Penne Pollo is a great white wine sauce pasta with sun dried tomatoes, broccoli and chicken. I have tried almost every entrée item and to me they all taste great and the quality of ingredients is always consistent. The Penne Ala Vodka will have you mopping up the sauce with bread and the eggplant Parmesan is really just a classic comfort food. Try the Panini’s too What I like the least is their Caesar dressing, it has a clawing sour bite and a garlic vinegar note that I don’t like. Compare it to the mild creamy dressing at Donovan’s and you will see what I mean. Overall Luigi’s is the go to place for Italian cuisine at my house.

So me and 5 others walk into Luigi Pizza to get some dinner. We sit down and go up to the counter to order. I ask to use the restroom as I was in need. I also wished to wash my hands before eating. I was told they did not have a restroom. I then asked what the employees there did when they were in need. As if by Magic they did have a bathroom but it was not available to the public. So this place has seating but will not allow you access to a restroom? I again asked and explained that I really was in need. Again he refused saying the boss has told him to not let customers use the restroom. My friend looked at me and said lets go someplace else. As we got up I turned to the counterman and said,“Let your boss know that he lost a party of 6 because I could not use the restroom.”. His reply,“Whatever.” Nice. So on a Wednesday night, which is slow for Pizza Joints, their horrible and rude service lost them $ 67.00 we spent at another Italian food/pizza place, where they were friendly and were more than happy to let me use the restroom. Not to mention the food was excellent. I will be giving the other place a very nice review today as well. 10÷09÷14 PS: I have received a few peoples comments about the bathroom being for paying Customers. Well to those, read above, 6 people on a slow Wednesday. Five sitting, One at the counter. Your logic is flawed, I had Five people get out of the car to walk into a Pizza Shop so I could scam them into using the bathroom. Silly.
