Our experience has included Land Surveying, Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Construction Management and Land Planning. Hutchison & Associates’ specialties include utility, paving and drainage design for projects such as subdivisions, retail centers, educational facilities, parks, major road design and street reconstruction. We utilize the latest software and equipment in the industry including AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map 3D, and RISA Superior Structural Engineering Software.

Hutchison & Associates was established as a consulting civil engineering and surveying firm in 1963. Our staff includes Licensed Professional Engineers and Surveyors, Designers, CAD Technicians, trained field survey crews and administrative personnel. After fifteen years of employment and four years as Vice President/​Principal for Hutchison & Associates, Jerry Gainer acquired Busch, Hutchison & Associates, Inc. (DBA Hutchison & Associates) in January of 2009​.Mr. Gainer’s diverse experience includes hydrologic/​hydraulic studies, private and public infrastructure projects, feasibility studies, public presentations, management of preparing construction plans and specifications, bidding and contractual processes and construction management. Drawing on his years of engineering experience, Mr. Gainer utilizes all the main civil engineering disciplines in his projects, such as: grading, drainage, erosion control and water quality reports/​studies. His background enables him to thoroughly understand projects, and he combines this with his engineering expertise to provide the best possible solution on a case-​by-​case basis. Mr. Gainer received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is professionally affiliated with
