Welcome to Texas Gemological Services Inc.

We are a jewelry appraisal firm that offers unbiased, accurate, expert jewelry appraisals and consulting services to the public and members of the jewelry industry. We specialize in appraisals of modern and antique jewelry, watches, pearls, diamonds, gemstones and silver. We provide insurance appraisals, estate appraisals, diamond grading, gem identification, and diamond certification.

History

Established in 1997.

TGS has performed thousands of gemstone and jewelry appraisals for many functions, including insurance coverage for owners, corporate chains, confirmation of quality or price for consumers, options for liquidation for individuals and institutions, federal estate tax liability for executors and administrators, equitable distribution among heirs, divorce settlement, and civil litigation.

For 16 years we have worked in every facet of the jewelry industry, we continue to service corporate chains, Independent retailers and manufacturers for a variety of services and goods. Our staff maintains a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America, Accredited Jewelry Professional Diploma, DCA Guild Gemologist, Certified Insurance Appraiser title from JCRS and a Certified Diamond Grader from IJO.
