I called here to get a quote on a set of glasses. I’ve worn contacts for ten years and wanted to give my eyes a break. These guys seem very, very very very shady. They quoted me a price of over 600 dollars for a set of glasses, but said «we’ll give you a 60% discount». Then, they said I could either take a «discount» (which seems to me to be a super high inflated cost over and above normal retail) or I could use my insurance. Since my plan offers only a 20 percent discount on retail frames and lens, of course their «discount» seems much better. What they should do, if they were really on the up and up, is price their frames according to competition AND THEN let people use their insurance to further reduce the cost.
The same lucky brand frames were 50% of the price I was quoted all day long elsewhere online.

I like this place because they seem like they enjoy their job & that matters when comes
between someone’s vision! I know my brother went here & he had a cataract & they set him
with a specialist that specifically works with
that matter, so yes that tells you they care about
their customer’s!!! So yes I recommend this place highly!!!

Vision Source is conveniently located right off of the highway which is a wonderful thing because it allows you to avoid the madness of Garth Road. Oh, the infamous, Garth Road. If you’re ever in Baytown, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Anyway…
This location is located in the «Shoppers at Baytown» plaza and it offers plenty, and I mean PLENTY, of parking space.
PROS:
— They offer a decent selection of glasses, from Versace, Marc Jacobs and Juicy Couture to Tura, XOXO, and Esprit.
— They also have a small selection of sunglasses including Ray-​Ban.
— Nice doctor, young and smart.
— The staff seems to be attentive.
— Like stated above, they offer a lot of parking space.
CON:
— It’s a bit expensive — but then again, that’s how it is.
