Baytown, TX
West Coast Donut serves typical donut shop fare such as glazed, fancy, and filled donuts; kolaches, including a wonderful boudin filled one; apple fritters, bear claws, danish, and holes. As far as I’m concerned, the literal stars of the lineup are the star-​shaped donuts, plain glazed or fancy frosted. Honestly, they don’t even NEED glaze. They are light and fluffy, with a slight crunch. After having these, I gave up on every other donut and donut shop in the Houston area.
