Drift up to 500 ft. above the bay and enjoy the breathtaking view of the beach and island. Our experienced crew will gently lift you off the platform of our 34 ft. parasail winchboat and you will fly over the bay under a huge parachute.

If you wish to feel the warm bay water, our captain will gently dip you and then shoot you back skyward. Landing takes place on the platform of the boat and is as gentle as the take off. All ages are welcomed, so bring your family and friends to the most talked about ride on LBI!

We are located at Bay Haven Marina in Beach Haven– about 5 miles south of the bridge, next door to the Buccaneer Hotel and across the boulevard from Spray Beach Deli. We also have jet ski, boat, kayak and SUP rentals– fill your day with fun on the water!

History

Established in 1990.

Captain Tracy Newsam came to LBI 25 years ago from Southwest Florida with years of experience. He founded Beach Haven Parasail in 1990 and still operates the boat today. He wanted to bring locals and vacationers a new way to spend time on the water and see beautiful views of the entire island.

Our hydraulic winchboat has been designed for comfort and operates on the calm bay waters. The captain has had a United States Coast Guard (USCG) 100-​ton Masters License for over 35 years.

Capt. Tracy N.

Business Owner

Tracy is originally from Boston, MA where he ran charters out of the harbor while raising his young children aboard the very same yacht. Eventually, Tracy and his family moved to Florida where his interests in parasailing and jet skis spiked. After realizing Florida was overwhelmed with watersport companies (and honestly, way too hot in the summer), he found Long Beach Island and has enjoyed the past 25 summers working on the beautiful island alongside his son, daughter and friends. During LBI’s off-​season, Tracy continues to operate parasail boats back home in Southwest Florida.
