Have generally had very good experiences here in ER and outpatient surgery. Highly recommend Rainbow outpost. My son had outpatient surgery there, and everyone was fabulous. My experience seeing UH physicians at Risman has been more mixed. But, I suspect that has to do more with the physician than the facility. I would stay away from Go Ortho and Cleveland Shoulder Institute at all costs. They are not UHMG docs even though central scheduling will tell you otherwise.

I have never been to a hospital where there was so much caring, concern and kindness. From the moment my husband and I entered and spoke to the receptionist, I felt we were in a place that genuinely cares. EVERY person we encountered had a smile, and reflected warmth. Ahuja restored my faith in «hospitals.» My mom, who is 92 years old was admitted for an infected foot. The last thing the receptionist said before directing us to her room was: «happy health to your mom.»(I later found out the name of the receptionist is «Karen.» Also, special thanks to «Diana» the social worker we worked with. Ahuja was also the cleanest hospital I have ever see. I will never forget the experience at Ahuja Medical Center. Heartfelt, D. Delacy Moore, daughter of patient: Susie B. Washington

This place deserves 10 stars! One of the cleanest hospitals I have ever seen, awesome nursing staff, good doctors, great hospital processes. I spent 11 days and nights there, caring for a sick relative(and that gave me more than enough time to frame a valid opinion).

This is quite possibly the WORST hospital I’ve ever experienced. I’ll give it one star for being generally clean and quiet. My journey starts here in May 2014. I went here for inflamed tonsils. They gave me a shot of dexamethasone and a script for antibiotics. I ended up here again three days later because my tonsils flared up again. The doc on my second visit says«I don’t know why they didn’t give you a script for prednisone on your first visit.» And this is where the fun starts. Because I’m from out-of-state, my insurance bills through a different insurer outside of Massachusetts, and whoever staffs their physician billing service couldn’t figure that out. They left it up to me after they billed me nearly $ 900 for their worthless services to figure it out. Now, most people might start paying that. However, I work at a hospital, and I know how billing works, and I know my schedule of benefits quite well. Fast forward almost a year later. They can’t figure out how to bill my insurance, even though they took a copy of my card. My insurance plan bills through UnitedHealth Care outside of New England. They managed to bill my SISTER who hadn’t had United for years. And the supervisor at the billing company had the nerve to be snippy with me. Sorry, I’m not the one that committed a privacy violation. On top of that, I continuously get bills for the copay that I’ve already paid. When I finally had the physician’s billing company fax the claim directly to my insurance company, they managed to mess that up too and send the first date of service twice. The only good thing: we discovered an allergy to the antibiotic. Aside from that, I will never, ever, ever, ever go back to this place. The problems truly started with registration, which was completely insufficient. They kept sending statements to my childhood home, which I told them at least 5 times to update my address. So to conclude my rambling, if you ever need any form of healthcare services, don’t go here. I can’t even say the physicians were any good. I hope to god I’m never brought here in an ambulance.

My mom had an emergency surgery here a few months back. The nurses were kind and caring. They were also very attentive. I can’t thank them enough for the care they gave my mom :)
