Since 1987 ARS Video specializes in the preservation of your family memories with the latest technology. We transfer old ⁸⁄₁₆ mm film, VHS & camcorder tapes as well as photos and slides to DVD, Blu-​Ray, hard drive and/​or i-​Cloud.

In addition to duplication work, we shoot and edit TV shows and corporate videos for training, websites, trade shows and sales promotions. Our special event video production work include weddings, Bar/​Bat Mitzvahs and dance recitals.

History

Established in 1987.

The seeds of ARS Video were planted in 1987, when Gloria and her husband Art bought a film transfer machine from New York and started transferring people’s precious memories as a part time business. Knowing the value of preserving memories, they made a commitment to producing high quality products and maintaining a superior level of customer service. Over a period of 10 years, ARS Video went from «night time» work with one machine to a full-​time business with several employees and ever expanding machines and equipment.

This is where the second generation of family joined the business. Gary, Gloria and Art’s son, acquired the company in the late 1990s. With Gary’s knowledge of computers and understanding of the changing technological environment, he brought ARS from analog to digital. He transformed ARS into a technological environment that offered faster services with improved quality at a reasonable price.

ARS opened its Beachwood location in 2009, run by Paul, Gary’s son.

Meet the Manager

Paul S.

Manager

Paul is the third generation of the family to join ARS Video. He came on board in 2009. In addition to being our Senior Media Manager, he runs the Beachwood store.

Paul is a Second Lieutenant in the Ohio Air National Guard and the Public Affairs Officer at Post 808 of the American Legion in Akron.

He and his wife Courtney live in Cuyahoga Falls with their 3 boys.
