Yesterday, I returned a Coach bag to the Beachwood Coach retail store because, although used very little, the color had worn off the bottom and the straps of my purse. As I own over 30 Coach bags and use each only a few weeks at a time, it was surprising for me to learn that I had to pay $ 20 for it to be sent back to Coach to see what, if anything, would be done. I find it hard to believe that Coach warrants their products for the«life» of the product, ASDETERMINEDBYTHESTAFF– even the sales person told me it didn’t look like the purse had been used often. The sales person, Fel____, and CJ W_____, the manager I spoke with later, stated that it was warranted only for the life of the bag… this 3 ½ year old, $ 378 bag was used only cumulatively about 20 weeks, and the problem I have is considered«normal wear and tear», it looks terrible and I will not carry it in public… or maybe I should, to demonstrate how POORLYMYCOACHPURSELOOKSAFTERONLY A FEWWEEKSUSE! I guess Coach doesn’t expect their bags to look nice beyond a couple of weeks’ use… Hmmm…I will certainly keep that in mind when adding to my purse collection, and suggest that other BUYERSBEWARE… Perhaps hard earned dollars would be best spent elsewhere, as Coach doesn’t warrant their products or expect them to look nice very long. It is unfortunate that the Buyer must Beware that such an iconic brand is no longer what it used to be!!!
