My hubby introduced me to this place and they have great sandwiches. This particular location has questionable employee(s). I’ve gotten sick after getting sandwiches here twice and didn’t make the connection till after the third time. I saw one of the sandwich makers wiping her nose on her sleeve while making the sandwich. I’ll go the other location next time.

Best subs in the area. Staff is fast and friendly — makes them exactly how I ask and even patient when I keep changing my mind. Love the chicken cheese steaks — never too dry. So good I have this place on speed dial.

I’ve been here before, many many years ago as a kid. I remember the subs being really good. This time, as an adult, it’s sad that it really wasn’t. My frame of reference is Roman Pantry in my hometown, which is just amazing! We ordered 2 large subs. Considering the mediums looked to be like less than half of the large, it’s like it left you no option. We asked for a cheesesteak and a turkey sub with bacon. It was kind of busy, but the wait wasn’t too long. Price wise, it seems a bit high than what I’m used to paying, like quite a bit. I’m used to getting 2 large subs, chips, drinks and candy for like less than $ 30, this was over $ 30 and I only got the subs and a couple drinks. We got our subs and went on. When it came time to eat, when I unwrapped, it was a let down. The cheesesteak was like barely full, I’m used to a lot of meat and cheese, the roll seemed half full at best. The steak was a little dry, not certain what cut of meat it really was either, off tasting a bit, not a lot of cheese either, no real flavor to it. Cut to the turkey sub with bacon… we got oil and mayo on it, lettuce and tomato… it was all there but the bacon, which frankly is key! The turkey wasn’t the deli style turkey, it was shredded turkey, like from a thanksgiving turkey and it was dry, smh. Yet again, NO flavor. It was one big blah, couldn’t taste the turkey, barely the oil or mayo, tasted the lettuce more than anything. Overall, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get a sub from here again, sad because I wanted to try the one in DC too. I’d probably go to WaWa first!

First time here. Not bad. Had the cheese steak and italian sub. Cheese steak was plain and the Italian was pretty good. Not a place where we would want to eat subs at often, unlike other places.

Veggie sub is spectacular. Place was packed. Next time I’ll try one of the salads. People in front of me ordered cheesesteaks and it smelled really good. That says it all doesn’t it?

I’ll give them some props on food… all of it is pretty good, but their service is horrendous enough to keep me away. I’m not talking once in awhile, I’m saying every time I’ve ever been there

If my husband’s company hadn’t relocated us here, I never would have heard of Capriotti’s. What a sad thought! Best sandwiches around, with meat a prepared on site. My top choice is always the Slaw-Be-Jo. Fresh chopped roast beef, provolone, mayo, Russian dressing and cole slaw! The one I always order, 99.9% of the time. There’s just something about the blending of those flavors that I can’t beat. Is also recommend the cheesesteaks or the turkey sub. My husband also likes the Bobbie, which is basically Thanksgiving on a sub — turkey, stuffing, mayo & cranberry sauce. Enjoy!

Love this sandwich shop. Every time I go to visit family in that area, I stop there to get lunch or dinner. The turkey sub is addictive and so different from the sandwich shops I’m used to in NY. It’s actually real baked turkey, not that formed, sliced, processed stuff NY deli’s mistake for turkey. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the northern DE area.

The Capriotti’s chain is awesome, the sandwiches are made well. The capastrami, their custom hot pastrami sandwich is tasty. The sandwiches are well made and high quality. As far as Capriotti’s go this one is in a fairly large strip mall so there is a lot of parking. The shop itself is medium sized with only take out. There are some benches to sit while waiting for your order but be prepared to take your food and head out somewhere else to eat.
