The only reason I don’t give them 1 star is because their service isn’t half bad. I can’t say the same for their food. Two years ago I would’ve given this place 4 stars. It seems as the time goes on, the worse the food becomes. The worse the taste becomes. The worst the quality goes down. Today was my final straw for them. Have of the«hot food» items weren’t even room temperature. Sushi looked like it was from yesterday. Heck, the only thing that wasn’t flavorless was the ice cream cups. Can’t mess those up since they come from Hershey. I was utterly unimpressed.

This is a pretty good Asian buffet. We have never had to wait for a seat and usually the wait staff is quick to take drink orders and bring refills. The food tends to taste fresher than other buffets I have been to. Also, we are big fans of the grill where you can build a plate with the meats and veggies you want and they will cook your stir fry plate in front of you.

AVOID this place!!! This is the worst buffet ever. The general tso chicken was reheated to a point where the breaded portion became extremely soggy. The rest of the food is low quality and cold.

We came here about 5:30 on Father’s Day. We were seated pretty quick but that’s where it started going downhill. We waited about 10 minutes and no waitress came to offer drinks so I went to the front desk to ask for assistance. Finally out waitress(Joy) arrived. Not very friendly or polite, she asked what we wanted to drink. My wife & daughter said«unsweetened tea» and as I was saying«unsweetened tea with lemon» she walked away. A couple of minutes later, she came back with 2 teas. My wife told her we ordered 3. She said she’d go get the other one. So I went to get my food, when I got back, no tea! I went to the service station to ask for my drink, she brought it out moments later. While she did clear the dirty dishes from our table, she didn’t refill our drinks in a timely manner. Well, dinner was winding down and Joy brought out our check. It was $ 41.04. So I put $ 42 on the table getting ready to leave. Joy walks by and grabs the check to cash us out. She never brought back my 96 cents. So I grabbed up 2 of the $ 5 I was gonna leave as a tip. I should have taken it all back but I didn’t. The only reason we came here was because there was a 1 ½ hour wait @ Texas Road House. Well, the next time we’ll wait the 1 ½ hours @ Texas Road House. I’ll never come back to this establishment, EVER! And I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I asked my boyfriend to take me here and he said his friend and him ate here a while ago he said it was ok but his friend got diarrhea. Said he didn’t eat the sushi but his friend did. That was years ago so we went, food was just like any other Chinese Buffett, the chicken hibachi dish was good and I liked how they had crawfish. I decided to be brave and try the sushi and never again! It was old sitting out for a while you can tell because the edges of the fish looked dry. I tried a piece and couldn’t swallow it. Also the seaweed salad had a fermented taste. Not going to talk about my ordeal afterwards but I’m sure readers will know. Giving it 2 instead of 1 star because other than the sushi it wasn’t too bad.

My wife and I have eaten here a couple of times now for lunch. We are always seated quickly. The service is always excellent as the waitresses are attentive and fast. All of the buffet items are stocked well and all our favorite buffet items are here. The food is on par with what you would expect and the sushi is above average. I’ve never been disappointed in about 5 or 6 visits. The restaurant is often full when we go and very busy on Sunday afternoons. Whenever I’m craving raw vegetables they have a nice veggie and fruit spread for a large healthy meal. The map location is wrong as of the review date.

Went on a Sat. for lunch, $ 7.49. Dining area was nice, but kinda plain, nothing on the walls at all and an ugly drop ceiling. Carpet was very dirty in areas. Food was fair, at best. Sampled quite a few things, most of the chicken items had a similar taste(honey chicken/General Tso’s chicken) and some of the chicken items had a weird consistency to them… also some of the beef items had VERY tough meat in them, inedible. I did like the egg foo young, was actually very good! Raw mussels and clams were mushy, like they’d been previously frozen. Really nothing at all stood out or was different. Sushi was not good, there was nary a piece of actual fish at all, just lots of surimi(fake crab). Plates were cleared quickly but the servers(at least ours) tend to hover and seem unhappy. I guess you get what you pay for, dining room was pretty much empty. Will not be returning, Hibachi Grill on Kirkwood Highway is much better, a little more expensive but definitely worth it, imho.

So… My whole family and uncle’s family and also my brother’s family to celebrate my cousin graduation at Tenppanyaki buffet at around 9 or 10 pm. It was my first time to go there. When I went inside the food almost empty and they didn’t refill the food. The food it didn’t taste good. The waitress kinda lazy and also unhappy to. The waitress didn’t refill my drinks it’s takes like 30 mins or 40 mins plus our were plates still there. They didn’t take it till they fill up till up to top plates. I suggest this buffet that I’m not going to eat ever. I may just go to king buffet is the best!! I went there on a saturday, for lunch, it was about 1230pm, expecting to use a coupon for 10% off. Not that I needed to, or that I couldnt afford it. I had never been there, and wanted to try it. The interior was modern, clean, spacious. But the floor near the tables where we ate was a little slippery. Anyway, I had an assortment of seafood, chicken, some vegetables, from the buffet tables, and some«hibachi» grilled shrimp and vegetables that were freshly grilled. The buffet selections were so so, a little bland, not very flavorful. The fresh grilled hibachi items were much better, I should have had that only and passed the buffet stuff. When we tried to use the coupon, the waitress, who barely spoke english, said that the coupons couldnt be used on weekends ! There was nothing on the coupon saying that. It only had an expiration date(it was still good), and said«excludes holidays» — it was a non-holiday. So it should have been accepted. Our meal was about $ 25 i think, and i didnt care so much about the 10% as I do about the principle — if a restaurant is going to be so unethical as to not honor a valid coupon, and offer lame/fake excuses, then I dont need to ever go back. The food wasnt even that good.
