History

Established in 1991.

The Pecan Tree Inn occupies a historic Queen Anne home that dates to 1866, with a major makeover and expansion in 1895 – 1900. The house was converted to a bed & breakfast in 1991 by Joe and Susan Johnson. It has been owned and operated by Stan and Christine Lamb since May 2015. The inn is surrounded by block after block of charming, restored historical houses, some dating to the 1700s. In the mid 1970s, Beaufort’s downtown business district was made over and made the center of an internationally popular yacht harbor.
