Established in 1989.

Before we started this business there were not a lot of options for pets when we wanted to leave town. Had to ask the neighbors who weren’t really thrilled. I got the idea from my sister in Austin who had started working for a petsitter. I had inherited a little money so the rest is History! It took a while to catch on, but we have increased out business each year since we started, and now we have a very loyal customer base. We don’t advertise a lot as we want to keep our business limited to what we have time for. Most of out business comes from word of mouth or from our local vets where we put out our brochures and cards. This is not an easy job as we are responsible for the lives of these very special pets when their owners are away, and we take that responsibility very seriously. That is one reason the interview we have before the sits start is so important. But we love what we do!

I started working for Ann, the original owner, a few years ago and learned a lot. I found out there is a lot more to this business than just going to someone’s house and «letting the dog out «. Ann had only 2 assistants before me as she was very exacting in her requirements; and as she told me «I am responsible for anyone that works for me and goes into someones home». I love animals but you would have to as you give up almost all of your free time and holidays. It’s been over 25 years and we are still growing strong!
