Established in 2008.

Hi, My name is Shane Clark. I leagly started my business back in 2008. I am a second generation roofer. My father started roofing in the 60’s and started his own business in 1977 Clark Roofing Company in Redlands, CA.

My father started out in residential roofing, then graduated to commercial roofing. I started working for him back in 1996. I started at the bottom driving dump trucks all over southern CA to pick up the trash left on the jobs. Then I started roof maintenance, leak repairs, then stepped it up to learning how to install APP Torch «Rolled Roofing» I worked my way up from there in sales, then I became Vice President.

I would always get people asking me to roof their house. I had work for other roofing companies on the weekends installing shingles on homes. In 2007 my mom said «Shane you need to get your own license» so I went to school and got it.

I currently sell, and install for Ridge Runner Roofing. I am hands on and see every job through from start to finish.

I am married to my Beautiful wife Nikki, We have 2 children the youngest was born in Febuary 2013.

We attend Oak Valley Family Church in Calimesa, CA

I play slowpitch softball for fun.

Shane Clark really IS as good as it gets! I was in the process of selling two houses and buying another. The first house I sold needed some minor roofing repairs done and Shane was very knowledgeable and and told me it was only a few tiles. He completed the estimate and repairs within a day. And not only that, the was extremely reasonable in his pricing!
Then on to my nightmare… The house that I was buying was becoming a problem with the owner not willing to do correct repairs on various items. This let me to think that the owner of this house may be hiding something so I called Shane out to do a roof inspection. Again, he was out inspecting within a few days. Luckily, the roof wasn’t in as bad a shape as I thought it may be but unluckily for Shane, his computer system when down and he couldn’t get the report to me when he said he could but did call me immediately to let me know it would be a day or two later. He also told me not to worry about paying him until the report was ready. In this day and age, who does that?!
Shane’s communication skills, people skills, and pricing were amazing. I would call this guy out for ANY repairs you may need.

I used Shane for a small roof repair, under $ 1k. He was very personable, informative and returned calls promptly. The job was done as he stated. He gladly provided insurance information, identification and license information plus reference information. Now we wait for rain! I would consider Ridge Runner for another roofing job.

Shane from ridge runner roofing completed work at my home. His prices/​quotes are competitive and he has good customer service. I read a few reviews that were mixed, but I gave him a try because he was local and answered all my questions and concerns over the phone. There was no pressure or up selling me on servicing my roof. Nothing to complain about with his service. Thanks

Unprofessional & Possibly Unlicensed!
I called Shane to do a roof inspection on a home i am in escrow on. The sellers rightfully wanted to make sure any contractor is licensed and bonded. This is so if anything was broken or an accident happened, they would have some recourse.
Shane said fine and would send over a copy of his license certificate. I called and emailed him numerous times over a 3 day period. A day before the inspections, he finally answered the phone. He said he wasn’t «comfortable» doing the inspection. This seems strange and weird that a home owner that is just trying to protect themselves makes him «uncomfortable». What does he have to hide or fear? Is it that he isn’t bonded and doesn’t have liability insurance? Not sure, all i know is this is not out of the ordinary and part of any contracting business.
In any case, ultimately he just wasted 3 days of my time and i could have had the inspection done already. Escrow is time sensitive and he has just set me back. Avoiding me and giving me the run around is not a professional way of handling any situation. I would never call them again and certainly wouldn’t ever recommend this company.

I contacted 6 roofing contractors for estimates on a wind damage claim on behalf of my 84 year old dad. Gotta watch out for Dad! I had 5 Roofers come out and give their estimates and out of the 5 roofing contractors, I chose Shane Clark of Ridge Runner Roofing. From start to finish, Shane was thorough, professional, courteous, honest and a down to earth guy. No disrespect to the other hard working roofers, but Ridge Runner Roofing got the job because he was friendly, answered all our questions, and most importantly… treated my my 84 year old dad with respect. Oddly, the other contractors were all business, but there is something to be said about showing common courtesy and kindness to your customers. It’s not always about being all business, you have to connect with your customers during a stressful time and Shane did that. I would be happy to provide references for him in the future. Oh! I almost forgot to add that the inspector who came out to finalize the roofing job stated that Ridge Runner did an outstanding job!

I called the owner Shane Clark, told him I had an infestation of bees in my attic. The company that extracted the bees didn’t have time to fix the hole they just left it open. The owner of Ridge Runner said he would come out the same day to do the repair if I wouldn’t mind him coming after his other repairs were completed. WE WERE SO HAPPY with his care and concern for our situation. Thank you so very much we would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
