Every time I have eaten here, it has been delicious. The spicy pork tacos on corn are particularly tasty. I can’t wait to try everything as they never disappoint!

Food here is always good and fast. I love the décor also. I heard they have music and/or a dj at nights but have not ever gone there at any other time besides lunch.

This is a quaint little restaurant. We had 4 different kinds of tacos — pork, spicy pork, Barbadoas, and chicken. They were served with three different sauces to choose from. The tacos also came topped with onions and cilantro if you like. Yes, please! All were very tasty!

Best authentic Mexican food that exists in this area!!! If you have not tried it then do yourself a favor and do try it. You will be addicted. The ceviche is the best I have ever had. Have tried multiple menu items. everyone of them are above and beyond expectations. Got to love a business where the owner is actually taking orders at the counter! Got to check ot out!

Had lunch here today. Wife had the flautas and an asada taco. I had the barbacoa burrito. The food was delicious and fresh. The burrito was huge, but the barbacoa was kind of runny, causing the burrito to completely fall apart half way through it, but it was very tasty. The flautas were awesome, and so was the asada taco, except the taco was the smallest taco I have ever seen. Also, HORCHATA! It’s extremely hard to find a place around here that has horchata, and they do. All in all, I’ll definitely eat here again, probably get the asada burrito next time.

Like everyone else, I found this restaurant on Unilocal as a number 1 stop. It’s a tiny authentic café. Very inexpensive. I had chicken flauntas which were awful. My husband had a burrito that he loved. We stopped at lunch so the neighborhood didn’t bother us. Nice people. Fair food. I would drive on.

This is the best authentic Mexican food in Beaumont, period. The flautas are as good as you get at the Pico de Gallo in west El Paso. The tacos al carbon were seen on a list of the 25 best tacos in Texas(Beaumont’s only listing). My only fault is that they keep running out of Topo Chico.

Mmmmmm man tasty! I ordered tacos and beans & rice and everything tasted amazing and authentic. I just wish I’d known how small they were because I would have ordered more. My fiancé ordered a burrito and it was huge! And delicious as well. We will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

The best Mexican food I’ve had in Beaumont and it’s so inexpensive too. They serve a variety of meats: carne asada, carnitas, barbacoa, al pastor, and chicken. I think the barbacoa is the best– it’s juicy and flavorful. The carnitas and pastor are good too though the sauce on the pastor was very oily when I had it. Asada is average and chicken is bland. The meat is served in a variety of ways. I’ve had the tacos, burrito, and sopes. The tacos are good. Get them«all the way» and avocado, grilled onion, and cotija cheese are added to the standard raw onion and cilantro. Sopes are big and three come in an order. Burrito is the best value of the three. They are large and $ 4. The hot sauces are good. I’m on the fence between the green tomatillo and the orange which is the hottest. Tortillas have always been good quality too. The corn is flavorful and the flour are the thin and stretchy kind. They had jamaica(hibiscus drink) once when I went here. Wish they had it all the time. The interior has murals and painted tabletops that add interest to what could have been a generic taco shop look. Also, it’s the only restaurant I’ve been to in Beaumont that really balances serving the Spanish speaking community and non. Everyone seems to be comfortable, menus are in Spanish and English, and cashiers speak both languages. Don’t be turned off by the modest exterior and neighborhood. There is some great food in there.

My boyfriend and I stopped at this place on our road trip from Atlanta to LA and we were not disappointed. I got the chicken plate and my boyfriend got a burrito. It hit the spot during our long journey.(I mean, I’d hope Texas has great Mexican food). If I am ever passing through again, I’d definitely stop here again.

The place is nice and clean and is decorated nice and colorfully. Service is fast and the people are very nice and helpful. The Sopes and Tacos are legit and taste awesome, full of flavor and great textures. I always get the Asada(grilled beef) but carnitas and barbacoa are awesome as well. definitely recommend this place.

La bamba aka Bamba has the best tacos in town. Do not be alarmed by the exterior, this place is great.

Still come here on a couple time a month basis. Fortunately, the food hasn’t changed. I’m 100% partial to the tacos. Tried the rellano plate one time before. Even snapped a pic and posted. There was absolutely a delight in every bite. Have to stay with the deluxe tacos. This’ll be my first barbacoa experience. I get a thrill.

These might be the best tacos I’ve ever had. We had the pulled pork, barbacoa and al pastor. I liked all of them, but the tacos al pastor were my favorite. I’m not a big fan of guac so I had queso fresco and onions on mine. Get them on corn tortilla for the real deal. The sauces were great too, but the tacos were flavorful enough without them. Only weak spot is that the tacos are so small, so I’d recommend three per person. The price is right though, so that might not even matter.

Man this place is too good. The food is really authentic and super cheap. The spicy pork taco was amazing and the sauces are great too. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to!

One of the top 5 restaurants in Southeast Texas, for sure — great, authentic Mexican street-style tacos, filling breakfast burritos, really fun ambiance with local art everywhere. Get the barbacoa tacos on corn all the way(onion, cilantro, queso fresco and avocado) and douse it in the orange sauce — it is the lord’s taco, and I could eat it every day for the rest of my life. Should be consumed with a Topo Chico whilst watching whatever movie is playing — if it’s Die Hard or Selena, congratulations. You’ve won the Tacos La Bamba lottery. Pop out from 5 – 9 on the first Thursday of every month for $ 1 tacos, DJs and a local low-rider club. It’s bicycle-friendly(there’s an art bike rack out front) and mega, mega cheap — even when my boyfriend and I have an ‘appetizer,’ dinner for two and beverages, we never pay more than $ 25. BYOB.

Taco’s La Bamba isn’t much to look at from the outside as I drove by twice before deciding«what the hell». It’s in the old part of town so it’s kind of run down. Once I went inside the décor was decent and the people were extremely friendly. I was the only gringo around but I liked this as it made me think it was more authentic. I ordered 3 tacos and a chicken quesidilia to go as I had a ton of work to do. The 3 tacos were asada, pastor and barbacoa. All of their tacos come on soft corn tortillas(I prefer flour) and have onions and cilantro on top. The asada and barbacoa were solid but forgettable. The pastor however was really good. I wish I would have just ordered a bunch of those. The chicken quesadilia was flavorless like boiled chicken and cheese. The tacos are really small but for 3 tacos and a chicken quesadilia was a little over 10 bucks. I’d go back but just for the pastor tacos next time.

Excellent barbacoa and carnita tacos. I ordered them loaded with all the goodies(grilled onions, avacado, maybe goat cheese?) Green sauce was my favorite. The corn tortillas could have been a little more cooked but were still good. Friendly service.
